Now you're talking!Probably sell him.
Now you're talking!Probably sell him.
He's the opposite of what you have stated above, in my honest opinion. His movement is elite, and he's just about the only player other than Son that constantly makes intelligent runs in behind. For the sake of balance, he has to play. And his overall game is better than many give him credit for, I'd say. Many of his best games have come as an 8 doing "midfield stuff" such as winning possession and progressing the ball.
Although clearly I'm not his biggest fan I don't think we are in a position to be selling any of our forward players and should be looking at bringing more options in.If someone were to make a 40M bid for him, would you want the club to accept the money and boot him out, or do you value him a lot higher or do you think he is priceless?
Personally, I'm not his biggest fan. He's a luxury player that needs the right support to shine. We don't have it. So, a lot of the time, he flounders. So, yes, as unpopular as it may sound, I wouldn't be opposed to letting him for a min of 40M.
Completley agree. He like Sissoko are mid table at best players, yet we seem to try or are forced to try and build our fucking midfield around them. It’s a joke.shouldnt be a starter and it’s been that way for 3 years now.
Absolutely this. He’s a lazy play ground / street footballer who happens to be tall and can finish but he doesn’t fit into a system.Tim Cahill scored goals too. Alli will always score goals, but he will also fuck up the system and his all round game is totally shit, the goals do not justify that. We should aim to sign players who score but also contibute to an effective system and a fully balanced side.
Look at teams like Leicester, Liverpool, City to see well balanced systems at work. Alli fits in at none of those sides. No top side would start him. If you put Alli in the Leicester side they would lost a ton of fluidity, and basically be much worse.
Spot on as usual mateI'm not suggesting Mourinho had an option, I am talking about moving forward. If we are still planning on keeping Alli as a key part of our side next season we are fucked. The club should be planning for life without him, but we won't be.
100% I’d be taking £40m all day every day and running to the hills with it.If someone were to make a 40M bid for him, would you want the club to accept the money and boot him out, or do you value him a lot higher or do you think he is priceless?

But how do you really feel?100% I’d be taking £40m all day every day and running to the hills with it.
He’s not good enough and he’s a twat, if I was manager I’d not want him in my best XI or near the squad.
one of my least favourite ever spurs players, his attitude fucking stinks quite frankly.
I really like him a lot, top ladBut how do you really feel?
How he didn’t get a penalty here. Mike Dean really is one isn’t he!
I thought he played in the England team that got to the world cup semi final. Must have been poor world cup.So you have answered the main issue within your own point. Lesser players fail to adapt to other styles and tactics.
Dele can play one way and one position. Thanks for your support and have a good night.

Kwp, not good enough.
Verts, finished.

Lloris, liability before his injury.
Apart from that we're good to go lol.
Good post and I agree we have a lot of issues, a lot.Theres major confidence issues which are affecting all the players.
I dont feel the defense are confident with the GK or the midfield.
The attack is not confident with the midfield etc etc.
Until we put in dominant midfield performances consistently, get a quality GK between the sticks this will continue on and on.
We've got 5 players who are top draw and another 2 young players that I feel are fantastic prospects. So all is not lost but we badly need investment now, but we cant afford to make mistakes with recruitment. As we know the pot us only so big.
