A loan abroad might be the best solution. I think Dele has a little bit of "maturing" to do, and getting him out of his comfort zone could be just the kick.

You think Dele will want to go to PSG? He has only just learnt how to microwave beans let alone move to a different country/culture and on top of that will need to learn a bit or French.

Also this talk about potentially helping us out getting Edouard, I’m sure their agreement is with Celtic, so nothing todo with us.

Secret message in there ?

To be honest, it wouldn’t have surprised me at half time against Everton he did a repeat performance of what we saw in the Amazon documentary, where Dier called him a spoiled brat.

I'd be gutted if we let Alli go. He is a unique type of player and could play a number of positions, unfortunately Mourinho needs a fool guy and it's Dele turn.

One of the standouts from the documentary was how naive and immature Dele is (endearingly so), with all the talk of chocolate bars and his pride being able to microwave beans.

He has all the ability in the world, but it does appear he has been coasting the last couple of seasons - Jose calling him out as lazy in training being telling.

He's not a kid any more, he's 24 and entering what should be his prime years, if he wants to reach the level he is capable of reaching I don't think it's the training ground he needs to work - it's maturity he needs.

My instinct is Jose dropping him is an attempt to get him to man up, if he reacts in the right way to it (and doesn't do a Rose) and takes on the challenge he could be a world beater. If he rolls his sleeves up, takes more responsibility and cuts down on the moaning he will be integral to us for years to come.

It's all down to him. I sincerely hope this gives the fire he used to play with, if he doesn't and he carries on as he was, then I think its time to move him on. I would be gutted to see him leave, but he really needs to grow up fast to be the player he COULD be.

Actually don’t doubt his talent. That hasn’t changed. 2-3 years ago the media hammered him for his nasty, aggressive, spiteful side. Pressured him to change. That and a few badly timed injuries means he’s lost so much of what made Dele a bit special. He’s just not been the same taking away his feisty side. The fact that he isn’t focussed when training is so frustrating and simply not acceptable.

Jose has told the squad to get nasty. That absolutely applies to Dele. It’s up to him.

So so torn on this. Dele is a great player. He has shown how good he is on his day (Chelsea, Palace, Man U Goals etc), however when the going gets tough, he is quick to moan and vent about others, yet doesn’t appear to think he himself is part of the issue on what he is ranting about.

Like Mourinho says, best players in the world are team players, for me Dele is about him. Moans to others when doesn't get the ball passed to him, and looks only interested when we are in possession.

Yes he is capable of magic, like the goals he has scored, but like others have alluded to, he isn’t creative, he isn’t blessed with pace, or ability to dribble past players unless it’s trying cheeky flicks or nutmegs.

He needs to be playing in a team that evolves around him being the star man and he is playing every game. However, where we want to be, and what Mourinho needs, are star players that play as a team/squad.

If we get a decent offer, and it’s abroad, I certainly wouldn’t be too upset over it.

If Dele goes, we’re going to have HG problems again unless a few non HG are sold(not including Foyth). And i dont think theres any HG worth the money now that Grealish is out of the question until next year.

What about Paredes for the qb midfield role? Player swap transfer bingo?

I like him, but I do worry we lack a bit of zip in midfield. Even in our pomp, a few years ago, I felt as if we could do with a tad more acceleration in the middle of the park. Paredes is on the slow side.

I honestly think that now we have a front 3 of Son, Kane and Bale,(sheer pace) Deli just doesn't fit in, far to slow in my opinion when hes on the ball.

think his burst of pace to ghost in behind has waned due to those hamstring issues he had, if 4-3-3 is what we're going for this season he could still be useful in CM or on the left of kane and i honestly dont think we'll let him go, hope we don't cash in on him just yet but if he's seen as an important way to bring in funds for less well stocked areas to be strengthened it might have to happen... painful rebuild indeed

Selling him would be a mistake IMO. He needs to mature and fast. His problem is that he hasn’t made the transition from wonderkid to a top class player. He has the attributes but his head isn’t right as many have said. Attitude is all wrong. Sort that and he’s up there. His international place is no longer guaranteed either. It looks to me like José is giving him a kick up the arse, old school. Let’s see if it works. I just can’t see him going mainly due to HG.

Not against him being dropped as he's been awful, but there's definitely more to it.

The kid is quality but so far, he doesn't seem to get it. Poch should have dropped him on many occasions which probably wasn't best for his overall development.
