Destroyed may have been too strong a word, but we're constantly second best against it. Why shouldn't I include Sunday? Crytsal Palace also completely outplayed us the first time we played them. We were awful against West Ham. Chelsea built up with a 343 against us in both games and played through us at ease. Ipswich outplayed us at home. Wolves outplayed us. I'm sure there's more that I'm not remembering at the moment.

Given the injuries this season, the prudent move would have been to rest the entire starting XI against both Palace and Villa. The problem now is that if United score first and sit back in their 3-4-3 (which will look more like a 5-4-1), we'll struggle mightily to break them down. They were favorites before, now even more so.

I hate to say this, but I saw him after the game on Sunday and he was walking very gingerly, obviously in pain and he winced badly when he turned, and I though then that there's no way he will make the final. He did not look at all happy. I really hope he's a super fast healer.
