Thought he was one of the few getting stuck in and working hard personally. Too many soporific teammates though.

Worked very hard and one of our better performers yesterday tbh, that dangerous cross nearly caught raya out and he should’ve mabye had an assist for the pass to Johnson who blazed over and he had an okish shot at the end but he needed to keep that down.

He did ok but it’s all huff and puff tbh, not enough real quality but he was up against a very good packed defence to be fair

He needs time at CM because he actually made quite a few mistakes in there that exposed us.

He was one of the worst pressers, not through work rate but for decision making. He wasn't always sure of who he was meant to be tracking and there were a couple of occasions where his choice lead to Arsenal being able to pass it through our first line with very little difficulty.

Offensively he was better in the second half when he was not having to share the right inside channel with Porro. His decision making was hit and miss and I'd like to see him get his head up sooner. There were also a few times when we were playing out from the back that he and Bentancur just got in each others way.

I think Deki is quality or at least has it in him.

He showed that when he first joined. He has had some genuinely superb games for us.

The problem is the rest of the attack is not up to much and he would benefit a lot more if the front 3 were more fluid.

I want to see Bergvall and him together as well.

Him and,James, are clearly capable of more, but the patterns of play just stifle everyone.

It doesnt help they both want it to feet all the time and three touches to get their heads up. Only to see nothing.

One of them, or someone else, needs to make a run or two- off or beyond Solanke.

It's too easy to read and stop our play currently

I agree 100% with this. There's a top-class CM in there somewhere but he needs an extended spell in the position to learn the job properly.

True, this is probably why by all accounts we were looking at a box to box 3rd man running Gallagher type CM to run beyond solanke more, as you say its all to feet and all too easy.

I’d play him at number 10 over Maddison tbh if he can’t play on right under Ange system.

He has the strength to hold off people as well as really good ball control under pressure. I want to see him in the middle where the pitch opens up his range of passing as against inferior opponents I think he can run the show better than on the wing. I think a game like tonight just shows why even while he can be frustrating with consistency he is worth persisting with.

If we need someone to play with their back to goal in spaces around the edge of the box then he's our best choice alongside Solanke. Very strong, can roll his man and run the channels well.

Been one of our best players this season and changed the game tonight he makes things happen which is more than can be said for most of our other attacking players.

Im glad he’s no longer playing RW as that wasn’t working but centrally he’s proving useful and making less silly fouls, well done Kulu.

Been saying it since Sunday.

Get Bergvall alongside him and I think our ball retention and desire to make something happen increases.
