He was really good today, had the difficult and physical Rondon in his back pocket all game.
There was a play where he and Rondon were chasing a ball that ended up going out of bounds - but Sanchez was able to give Rondon a solid shoulder barge, knocking Rondon off-balance.

It was a complete 180° from the first match against Rondon - who bullied Sanchez.

Saw that shoulder barge and quite enjoyed seeing it. It told Rondon who was boss today.

I find it confusing why there’s so much hype about Foyth (rightfully so) but a man only a year older than him barely gets any. He admittedly had a bad game at Palace but in the last few weeks he’s battled against three really difficult opponents in Mitrovic, Deeney and today Rondon and performed very well.

Sure he needs to work on certain things but what 21/22 year old CB doesn’t. I think he has everything and the potential to be one of the best CBs in Europe. His second season has been tricky at times but with being just 22, playing World Cup and a few injuries it’s hardly surprising.

We’ve got two stars in the making and in Sanchez and Foyth the future pairing after Toby and Jan depart.

Because Sanchez clearly has made his way into the team already, while Foyth is still fighting to achieve that. That's why some of us show more excitement about Foyth... because he's getting nearer to emulate what Sanchez has done.

Fucking hell, what is Davinson's thread doing all the way on page 3? He was terrific last night. Some of the shit he pulled off was Ledley King style.

Get on it SC.

The boy has potential, but like a lot of young CB's he has a mistake in him, as Foyth does & hopefully as the mature they will develop into outstanding CB's.

I saw Sanchez smile after Llorente's goal.

If that doesn't give an indication to how good the mood was around Wembley last night, nothing will.

He seemed to be doing a little more offensively recently which is good. It always bothers me when he receives the ball with tons of space in front of him and he doesn't take a step forward with the ball. Its something Jan, Toby & Foyth do consistently to force the opposing defense to move. It'll come, but I'm glad to see it happening some more.

He's also at least attempting the long balls over the top so thats promising as well.

Love davinson, he is a top level talent for a CB. We are very fortunate to have the 4 of them and they are all far ahead of dier at cb these days.
Only issue is im not a fan of 3 at the back with the personnel we have at fullback especially when alli kane son and eriksen need fitting into the team its not possible. Poch will need to rotate cleverly.

Ignore the headline about the title, that’s just for clicks. It’s quite a nice interesting interview towards the end once you get past the usual guff. We do tend to target players in the main who are grounded and humble individuals rather than flash fuckers. It has to be an aim of ours and must be really difficult nowadays. He seems a good lad.

I thought his best game last season was against Chelsea as well. He seems to have their number.

Sanchez *clearly* stamped Koczielny's leg late in the game, after getting tangled during free kick attempt. He will face a ban, I'm afraid.

I do wonder if there was subtle push on him for the 1st goal. It’s quite odd how he over balances.
