I would imagine Rose is a real pain in the arse to deal with. His form over the last 18 months has not been near what it was, yet he is still in the England squad.
When he does play he gives everything . Loan to Leeds in jan would be ideal.

He says he's not going anywhere

Their are only 3 or 4 clubs who will pay more in this country and those abroad that will pay more would not want him or the other wantaways.
I just wish we could push Aurier /Eriksen/ Rose / Alderweireld and Verthongen completely out of the picture it may be painful but paying these 5 for doing nothing until their contracts out in my eyes would be beneficial to the team in the long run .
It seems that this trend of going on a Bosman has come to the fore this year and we are the main sufferers .

The better question is why is Scrooge mcLevy wanting a player out who Poch supposedly wanted to keep
Because that player spends much of his time injured, is a walking PR disaster and hasn’t sustained any kind of decent form for roughly 2.5 seasons would be my guess, compounded by him turning 30 by the end of this contract. In fact, back in 16/17 and 17/18 (our best two league seasons) Davies started far more than Rose.

All valid reasons but typically it's the managers decision as to whether those are reasons to get rid and from what we're being told he was happy for him to stay so if you're going to disrupt a player against the managers wishes then you need to be sure you can get it done otherwise we end up with the situation we find ourselves in now.

But I bet if any of the bigger clubs that he thought were into him when he was hanging on to Walker's coat tails were after him now he'd be off like shot. Guess Watford being the only rumoured interest must have been a reality check.

Probably thought it wasn't a bad idea to get a few million towards a new player who could possibly make headlines for his footballing ability rather than his big gob. ;)

I'd agree if he had made it happen but now all that's happened is Poch is left with the aftermath of that failed attempt. I'm just trying to put a light on the idea that Poch is having to try and make chicken salad with chicken shit with situations transpiring which are out of his control which must make trying to strike the correct balance with squad morale difficult as hell which no doubt contributes to the situation we are in. He's not innocent himself and caused a large chunk of it but fuck me has he been dealt some bad hands.

I get the feeling that the board like to treat the players as chattel and a few of the players are giving them the finger.

Rightfully so.

Also the Bale sale was wanted by the board just as much as Bale, mark my words. Don't be fooled by the faux indignation.

I agree, but Danny Rose mouthing off again is a kick in the nuts that was totally unnecessary and causes more speculation, discontent, friction and publicity we could all do without. He should have learned to keep his trap shut by now but coming out with this shit is what he's becoming known for rather than being good at his job.

I mean, the only way I can see Bale being relevant to this thread is that he was also a left back, amirite???

I'm hoping Vert can sort it out and get back in the fold, I'd feel a lot more comfortable if he was covering Sess
Think we need to move away from Verts, Toby, Eriksen, Aurier & Rose ASAP.

Jamturk says that players are treated like chattel . to my mind there are only four clubs that pay higher wages in this country and if getting anything from 30 to 90 grand a week is being treated like chattel then boy would I like to be treated like chattel .
Some of these players need a reality check and if the only reason they want out of spurs is money then I am afraid they are in for a shock as
the wages even on a free will not be a lot different with what they are getting now
It is a fallacy about spurs being low payers of wages as the there are four that pay more and 87 that pay less in England.
Abroad wages are in general lower than the UK unless you play for one of the uber clubs and none of them will be interested in our wantaways .
You will have to excuse me because I have no sympathy with any of these wantaways if money is their motivation .
Nothing can excuse there seeming to down tools so to speak .
Even if they have other reasons 100% effort should still be the norm.

Danny Rose is no disruptive influence in the changing room etc. He is highly loved and liked by the players. He always tells it as it is. Wasn’t Poch who wanted him gone! Neither was it the players!

So going to the press is not disruptive? Seems like it to me.
