Was once touted to be the next big thing under Poch, will be interesting if he was able to revive his career. Your thoughts?

Wasn't he the most expensive teenager of all time or something when they bought him?

I have a feeling we won’t sign any LB and use Aurier, KWP as back up LB. With KWP signing a new deal, in fact more I think about it more I am convinced

While Rose was obviously not integral last season due to injury, if he is fit for the coming one then neither Shaw or Sessegnon would improve the squad as his replacement.

Sessegnon may have a greater potential to fulfill, but for the immediate future he would not strengthen us, a CL team, in my opinion.

Honestly feel he's a wash with Rose. Both injury prone. Both have shown massive flashes of potential.

Not sure, but the duracell batteries I sold him in the Currys in Surbiton 24 years ago have probably run out now.

Quite ironic, coz I once had a curry in Surbiton and the result very much resembled what this TW is looking like currently.

While I don't doubt the ITK, getting rid of Rose now seems like a strange move. Can only assume other plans are in place.

I've just spent some time over in Spurs Chat posting an analysis of our current squad in terms of the PL Homegrown Rules, and Shaw would probably be the only choice if we were to buy a replacement. Him or Bertrand anyway.

I wouldn't be keen on using KWP and/or Aurier as backup for Davies but I suspect that's what will happen unless there are a significant number of other outgoings around the corner.

Both. We don't really have a first choice. They get rotated so much.

I'd be gutted if Rose went, one because I value his tenacity and think with a run he'd be a better option than Davies. Secondly it's one thing letting deadwood such as Janssen or N'Koudou go but selling a good squad/starting 11 player with the necessity for a replacement is just frustrating not only at this stage of the window, but when we're seemingly unable to make a single signing too. You'd like the attention to be on addressing the central midfield or striker options now, not a left back to replace Rose.

Surprised to see that people are still mentioning Sessegnon as a potential replacement. He’s going to be extremely difficult to sign and he’s not really a left back these days anyway.
