Seems like it

still not getting on
Surely it's better to of sent him to league 1 and have him playing week in week out than again sending him to a championship club to struggle for a game.

I despair at our management of the youngsters sometimes.

Unless this is all attitude related issues?

He’s 20 not really a kid anymore,
Should really be able to be championship standard by now if he’s going to looking to be playing for us or a premiership club soon.

He always seems to have a face like a slapped arse - a well known metric for the best scouting departments.

My understanding was that part of the reason he was loved at the club was that his attitude was so good, particularly coming back from a career threatening injury at a young age.

His problem now seems basically to be a morale one.

I guess the hope, as ever with a younger guy out on loan, is that he’s working hard in training, getting his head down and waiting for his chance. Hopefully when it comes he’ll grab it and start to fulfill his promise.

He’s getting to around about the age Kane was when he was at Leicester, isn’t he? Would be a big ask for him to come back and make a similar impact, but best of luck to the lad.

"a big ask" may be the understatement of the century 😁

would have prefered him even at Excelsior despite their relegation, would have scored loads and become proven at a senior level.
He struggle to survive in English lower leagues so far.

Not sure we can lay the blame at the loan club.
start of last season I think most would have said going to newly promoted Ipswich under former spurs coach McKenna in the championship was a smart move.
This year he’s gone to newly promoted Oxford and they’re also now in the top 6.
needs to keep working hard and hope fate deals him a good hand at some point
