But his priority is to play in these Argentinian games
I'm not sure I can get on board with this sort of thing, especially in the week that H was getting praise for saying "country before club".

As much as we as club fans may hate it, international football is the pinnacle and any player should be proud to be picked to represent their country.

He's just played for us, it would be rather "Arse" to try to pull him out from the internationals and with how he obviously feels about his country, he probably wouldn't be too happy if we did.

Players shouldn't have to choose whether to prioritise club football over international football, they should be able to play both and not worry about playing 70 games a season. The fixture schedule is the problem here and seriously needs fixing, I've been following football all my life and I've never known so many injuries.

We're talking about resting players for Europe so they can play at the weekend but they should be able to play two games a week without worrying about a hamstring or an ACL.

UEFA and FIFA in particular need to stop this obsession with money and competing against eachother, there are so many meaningless games and football as a sport is so much less entertaining as a whole, they're weakening their brand by trying to milk as much out of players as possible. Stop the Nations League, stop the endless international breaks and friendlies and focus on improving the sport.

South American players put country before club every time. That's just how it is. It's different over here where most supporters would rather see their club win a game of Monopoly than England win a tournament.

Speak for yourself.
Maybe it’s because virtually all the top South American players are all in Europe . It’s an event when they all get back together.

Don’t forget it used to be a 42 game season plus loads of replays. They tend to run a lot more now and it’s more intense. Jan Molby wouldn’t exist.

I’d take £70m for Cuti if that got us Guehi. I’d then have Vuskovic backing him up.

Perhaps we’d be better going for a faster option though given Vuskovic and Dragusin aren’t the quickest.

I'd be surprised if RM were still interrested given his current form this season

Could explain why Romero and Lo Celso have international trophies while England have memories.

There a rumours that Italian contingent are unhappy, which is unsubstantiated

the unhappy ones are allegedly Romero, Udogie, Bentancur and Vicario
If Ange too goes around calling Bentancur and Romeo Italians, I can understand why they're a bit annoyed.

They were all lazily lumped together by the original "article" because Romero and Bentancur both came to us from Italian clubs. I'm not sure why our own fans are carrying it on, mind.
