We were also told that building the new stadium wouldn’t affect transfers every window from 2017-2019.

that’s not true, he said that the stadium wouldn’t have any impact on our transfer budget as there was finance ringfenced for transfers. Just because that budget was 0 doesn’t make him a liar:cautious:

The club should look to get another creative player in, even though we have GLC.
Personally I wouldnt mind Maddison, but since hes english his price tag is probably insane.

It's going to be a job replacing him. Hes created the most chances in the Premier League in the last 5 years and unfortunately his decline has coincided with ours.

Wish him well.

If we can get Bruno in as a replacement it will be just lovely.

I very much doubt he would even be interested, putting aside the astronomical fee.

I'll miss Eriksen, he's been pure class & always made everything look so easy.

He didn't have to come to us. He could've been like every other young, gifted player - sitting on City's bench or winning easier leagues year in year out. But he turned them down to join us & continue his development - whether that was the Ajax influence or not, I don't know, but for such a gifted player he always seemed grounded & humble.

It's a shame he leaves us with no silverware & on bad terms with many of the fans. I felt he suffered more than most once Dembele left, being asked to help pick up the pieces in what became a very poor CM. Most big names wouldn't do it, but he got on with it & took a lot of abuse in the process.

He's been brilliant for us & we'll struggle to find a player like him again for a long, long time.

Exactly this. Of course he can't do himself justice right now, when practically playing in a two man-midfield with lots of defensive duties. When he get a free role with a decent midfield behind him he will once again show his masterclass.

The idea is that supporters of specific clubs come to understand which reporters are reliable when discussing their club, and then share that information with others. It’s not some hard-and-fast guarantee that literally everything reported by a so-called “Tier 1” journo will come off or that anything reported by a low-tier journalist is necessarily false.

Do you think it’s beyond the capacity of Spurs supporters to make judgements as to the reliability of Dan KP or Alli Gold versus, say, Lyal Thomas?

It’s a general guideline telling you whether a report is worth giving credence to or whether it’s likely to be bullshit, nothing more. Anyone taking it as gospel is misunderstanding where it comes from and what purposes it serves.
I don't understand how the system works but you seem to be implying that it's subjective. Better than not knowing at all though I guess.

Good idea, maybe Leicester will do us a good price and drive him down to us too

So what youre saying is that signing a player from Leicester is impossible for a club like Spurs? Give me a break.
They have a good season but come the summer window the other "top PL clubs" will buy their best players. Like last time. Kante, Mahrez, Drinkwater.
But of course, we cant do that can we......

Would be nice if people read that middle paragraph and think about that when they’re talking badly of Dele

Not impossible, but unlikely with the fee they will want for the player. Other clubs will pay what they want, bit I can't see Levy doing that.

We would never pay the 70m+ fee they would demand, they would certainly not sell him in January. He probably wouldn’t want to come.
Apart from that your idea is tip top ?

I am legit curious to see if he pulls himself together at Inter and reverts back to his brilliance from 1.5 years ago. Or, if his form with us wasn't so much a case of being distracted, but rather, it truly is the level he is now currently capable of playing at. We'll find out soon.

I assume these are the same supporters that follow all the XG and XGChain stats etc (i.e. the type of supporter that needs to get out and have a life, and stop living in their parents basement on the social).

Herc already mentioned that we want to replace Eriksen with a more defensive-minded player, which makes sense as it would allow Gio to push forward towards that no. 10 slot, where he is most effective. DM - Ndombele - GLC is a midfield we can build a contender around IMO.

What the fuck is all this XG shite? Same with all this Tier journo bollocks. Silly fucking nonsense.

Farvel vår gode danske dreng! I'm gonna miss him, and I think and guess the team and Mourinho gonna miss him on the pitch. He's saved several games from ending as failure and fiasco, even though he has been poor lately. I wish him all the best for his future!
