It still makes me laugh that people are still going on about Eriksen 'not looking interested' and 'clearly doesn't care' by watching his body language. The guy is fucking Danish, he's never looked remotely interested in anything since he got here. You could tell a Dane that they've been elected King of the Universe and they'd have the same facial expression as if you told them someone set their dog on fire.

I mean he has been a bit crap but don't think you've because you've gone all Sherlock Holmes and deduced his body language that any of it means jack shit.
Doesn’t help that he’s openly trying to use interviews to help speed up a move out but ok

By the way if you are saying that everything written in the newspapers is made up then perhaps the conversation I am having now is just a dream or a figment of my imagination .
Can I ask again, as to where you read this about his agent's meeting?
I ask because i haven't seen it and would like to, to be able to cast any judgement.

On another thought though, we're all expecting transfer business to be done in January and i sure as hell hope we're meeting with agents already.
Ok, if his agent did meet the Bayern people after the game, I could see why you would think its it's disrespectful but I can also see why it would be a perfect opportunity for both the agent and Bayern.

How would you have felt about it if the result was reversed?

Saying once he wanted a new challenge but would be ok with staying and then by saying it was frustrating that things didn't get sorted is hardly Zidane/Bale territory. It was the same quote or two stretched and re-posted for a whole summer. If he was playing well (or anyone was playing well) then people wouldn't have batted an eyelid.

I don’t hate Eriksen. I reckon the majority of Spurs fans are pleased with his overalls contribution from the first time he came to us from Ajax but him not signing the contract ( he is entitled to) not committing to the cause and waiting to leave on a free , with he’s overall performance level dropping dramatically, has left people mystified as to Eriksen’s commitment, coming into focus again.

Personally I wish Eriksen all the best , hope he gets he’s dream move to Real Madrid however for Tottenham and our benefit moving forward its best we side line him until he can leave with our blessings in January.

Jan Toby Wanyama Rose the same imo

I always picture him in denim dungarees.

Anyway, the latest unsubtantiated newspaper goss (which I cannot be shafted to post) talks about Eriksen off to Juve with Rabiot coming our way, and Bruno Fernandes joining up.

Which is still not a new RB and DM.

I’ll change my mind on the interview if he signs a new deal, which we all know he won’t. There’s no need for him to say he’s ok with staying when the whole world knows he’s rejected every contract we put in front of him

It's gone past the point of signing a new deal. I want Eriksen gone, we need to recycle. He really should be sideline from the team until he can leave.

We're not in a position imo to bench one of our best creative players.

On current form (last 18months) he isn’t one of our most creative players

He is not just one of our most creative players, even over the 18 months you have stated he has still been by far the most creative in squad.

You just need to look at the assist stats amongst plenty of other things, and put away personal feelings because he won't sign a new contract.
That is the problem, we need him, more than he needs us.

Eriksen is our creative player.Thats it. We only had one. Poch doesn't put too much effort into that side of the game, most other teams have a few. (While flicks from Lamela or Dele can be considered creative they to me are not creative players,as creative players are architects of great attacks) I do admit that Ndombele can hit some wonderful through balls and hope that he will add creativity with Lo Celso but we have to wait to see if Poch gets them working that way or simply pushes them to be more defensive in there games (it happens)
So by default in some ways he is the creative genius. I just think that he allows the game itself to dictate his game and not the other way around. When they allow him,he can be great when they don't he is just a victim.I actually think that he lacks confidence or self esteem enough to be a great though he has the talent for sure
