I think Eriksen’s role in that comeback was purely coincidental. Villa were absolutely drained and we scored a lucky equaliser and goal to go 2-1 up.

Ndombele's was lucky? He immediately upped the tempo and forced villa out of their shape. Before that they got behind the ball and we didn't even try breaking them down. Eriksen at least tries penetrative passes which no other fucker fancied doing

Disgrace, fuck off, yada yada yada still created our 2 best chances of the second half with the corner to Kane and the ball to Dele who couldn't stay onside.

Don’t do it to yourself. Eriksen I have do doubts in my mind will be off to Real Madrid on a Bosman. This is the plan from the beginning.

Remember you heard it here first.
Not if we send them
a video of tonight's game he won't

So he's Ozil then, one good ball and completely non existent for the rest of the match. Even by his own god awful standards he's set recently, tonight was by far his worst ever

I said to my pals that he was doing his best Ozil impression...really disappointed in him he didnt even look like he wanted the ball.

Awful tonight. Really don't know what we're gonna get from him now, from one week to the next. He can't be left out, he's our most creative player. But seems to be really going through the motions at times.

He was great the other day against Palace, which makes it even more frustrating. Make no mistake this player is not world class, he’s found his level with us. He can be quality, but is often poor and has no impetus to fight.

Well perhaps we bring Dier in and let him sit and allow Tanguy and Harry licence to roam a bit before Lo Celso is ready to come in?

It's interesting that Poch in his press conference is talking about intensity and aggression from the player lacking but he chose to leave Eriksen on instead of Moura or didn't decide to play Lamela who is more suited to this type of game.

Wasn't the best from Eriksen today but personally expect a performance like that in this type of game and feel it's on Poch to have a better idea of what players do well in what situations. Feel like Leicester is more his sort of game and would have preferred him to have been more rested for that.

Just watched the first half of PSG V Madrid, Eriksen's body language is just like Bale's, both of them don't look interested, Bale scored a stunner but could hardly be bothered to acknowledge it, ok it was disallowed but he hardly seemed bothered.
I think the sooner Eriksen goes or is left out, the better for togetherness of the team.

Someone said "the villa game shows his value " well in that game it was the formation change that affected that game and that was taking off Winks who was playing deep and putting on Eriksen more forward . He was in fact not involved in any of the 3 goals .
It is a misconception to say we won because of him and as I say we won because of a system change .

Maybe. Anything is better than tonights Eriksen. But I don't think we have any better alternative, when Eriksen is actually on his game right now imo.

Yeah, he was really bad tonight. If a player of his quality puts in a display like this, then righty there should be questions asked. Why on earth he didn’t come off, I do not know. Surely it would have sent him a message too? As another post said, I’d have put Dier on and let Winks and Tanguy go and produce something.

And, our best performance this season, Eriksen was also pretty quiet in that against Palace. The goals didn’t come from him, but the other players helped gloss over his performance.

Silly me for wanting to sell him cheap.

Good to see him highly motivated playing for a big contract come 2020. Maybe someone in China would still be interested?

People acting surprised? He’s been shit for over a year. This is par for the course for eriksen now.

It points to a wider problem though, why is practically every player in the squad regressing?

Eriksens been one of the worst culprits but he’s not alone.
