Gutting. Really don't fancy Bruno Fernandes to replace him either.

I don't know much about him bar his stats, which are obviously impressive, but seems a slightly odd target if we're bringing Lo Celso in too.

Great player for us but honestly, whatever. Truly dont really care (and havent for a few years actually) whether he stays or goes regardless of how important he's been for us. Cant put my finger on why but i'm very meh about it. Maybe I just haven't connected to him like I have others. So long, Christian.

Really hoped he wouldn't screw us like this, but he's got to look after his own interests I guess. Problem is where does he go? He could end up in a worse spot. Levy would probably drive him to Utd rather than lose him on a free.

Really thought Zidane's indifference and Poch still wanting him would make him have a change of heart.

Juve would be the best option for him, and us...IF we somehow managed to get Dybala out of it as well. But that aint happening.

Yeah I'm the same. I 'felt' it more when Modric and Bale went.

Having watched us in pre-season there aren't many better options than us unless he wants a few easy trophies at a Juve or Bayern.
RM are a basket case and I'd steer well clear of them next season as I suspect they'll be closer to third than first.

I really don’t get his infatuation with Real Madrid, they’re an absolute shower of shite both on and off the field at the moment.
I agree with you but for most of the players playing for RM is the dream, will be on mega money and winning regular trophies (probably)

I completely agree. It's strange because he's a quality player and has always seemed like a nice enough guy. I think maybe it's in part because he is probably one of our more replaceable players in that there is no shortage of similar players? Maybe also because he always made it clear he wasn't here forever and we all like to pretend that the players who come here are.

IF Eriksen really is off, Bruno and GLC inbound would be about as well as we could have conceivable done this window. (Dybala was always a dream but not realistic)
