Didn't JJ laugh at the prospect of an Isco Eriksen swap? Can't see Modric or Bale coming back either. Going to make interesting watching regardless.

Yeah I didn't think I had imagined that but couldn't see it! Still makes the window a bit more interesting having some form of hope.
I'd say keep him.
The quality he brings to the team will not be easily replaced where we are at moment.
But in another 18 months hopefully we will have stepped up even more so will have more financial muscle and be even more appealing so able to both afford and attract a quality replacement.
I’m surprised Levy hasn’t given Eriksen an ultimatum this month regarding signing a new contract, selling him this month would be for a lot more than summer.
I’m really struggling to see us getting that much money for him compared to his actual worth, he’ll have less than a year left on contract, the buying clubs have all the power. Why would they bid 60-70m say when they can just bid 30-40m knowing we’re basically fucked.
If he doesn’t want to be here and he has no intention at all of signing new deal and there is a chance of a Eriksen/Isco swap deal plus a few extra quid for letting him go now then we should be tempted. Beyond Isco (even though he’s probably a pipe dream) I can’t think of anyone attainable, affordable or won’t make me want to smash my head through a window if Eriksen was to leave. Getting replacement in now so can bed in for next season isn’t worst thing albeit you’re losing someone damn special at key time of season.
Not anywhere near CE level but we should be looking at James Maddison or even Juan Mata for one season as his contract with united is up in the summer
Agreed but with the way the clubs spending has been unless your going out there and spending all of the eriksen money on a player your going struggle to get anyone near his qualityNot the level we require. If we want to win anything this year we must keep Eriksen till end of season. We would even struggle to make Champs league if he went this month. You cannot bed in a new player to fill his role in January. He is central to our success this year.
I don't even think Madrid give a shit. If they're willing to sell him they're done with him. To me it's more I doubt Isco really has an interest in joining us UNLESS he's been knocking on the door of Bayern, ManU, Juve, etc and getting the cold shoulder.Fuck Madrid, they aren’t going to sell us Isco even if we sold them Eriksen.

100% to let him go now would be criminal unless we are getting isco on loan for 6 months!Agreed. But my point is if we have to let him go it must be at the end of the season so that we can learn to play without him.
is there anybody better in his position atm? I can't come up with anyone.
So you think Eriksen is best AM in the world?
I'd probably only take De Bruyne over him.Theres no one that we could get that is close to him either way.
