He doesn’t look any different to how he played for us. His form has been patchy for a while and I hope for his sake he can pick himself up and kick on. He had some epic games for us, but a lot of poor ones too, which is probably why he’s playing for Milan not Madrid!

The commentray was brilliant when the commentator says 'Eriksen loses the ball' I was watching the united game but had Inter game in another window, had me creasing though, shame i missed it !.... its so slow over there, not as quick and no pressing Eriksen will look like a Don! .... as long as he doesnt hit the first man everytime, lose the ball constantly, run away from tackles and pass back 98% of the time ? ? ? ? ? ?

I find the vitriol towards CE at times strange but at the same time I understand it given his form has been shit the last year. I always find it difficult when it comes to form as long as they work and try hard with maximum effort. Form is form. He has played a huge role in our rise over the last five years or so years. His numbers stack up and underpin that.

I do find it unbelievable though why CE has a shit set piece, i mean he has a great pass on him, great cross on him in open play but set pieces are awful.

It is strange seeing him in a different kit but hey ho

Actually he was one of the best in the league for assists from indirect free kicks. Corners were the issue but a lot of that was due to his instructions (flat delivery to the near post). Of course at some point they should probably (he or the coaching staff) have considered changing things up, as it really wasn't working. All I'm saying the perception of him being a dead ball specialist is far from a myth.
