This is the latest out of a Inter Forum that I decided to take a lurk on:

The clubs are in agreement, both want it solved as fast as possible and the difference in money is so small (1-2 mil) that it will be taken care of in bonuses. Inter have sent Eriksen's agent to negotiate his fee with us and that is where we have run into issues. He apparently wants a very large fee from both clubs. Marotta (the new Inter head honcho) has as much as ordered the agent to cut his fee and agree a deal within 24 hours or he will do it for him more or less.

Take it for what it is worth.

Eriksen's agent has long sounded like an absolute douche, so this is interesting.

Sounds legit, tbh. Jose will keep picking him to turn the screw on Inter no doubt.

Hes probably well pissed at CE, im sure he would have preferred CE not to wing his contract down as agent would have got a huge bumper cut, so maybe hes playing silly buggers to try and recoup some extra as his big pay didnt arrive with winding the contract down

This should be ITK eventhough it is some time ago. Nearly from the horses mouth.

Evren Sihan and Bayram Tutumlu made a deal for CE to Barcelona for some time ago. Martin Schoots fucked that one up. Levy and Schoots should not get along that well after that.

Pinch of salt and all that

Where this is probably relevant is that he would surely be in the "surrendering loyalty bonus" category if he threw in a request.

I'm guess that it might be one of those scenarios where it costs us extra if we sell him rather than his contract expiring, unless he does something like that.

Seriously, dude needs to go. Levy just let him leave, none of the fans want him here anymore. We would all pay good money to play for this amazing club, and yet this bloke doesn’t want to play while getting paid insane money.

In a nutshell, F off mate.
