This is the saddest situation with a player for some time.

We should be sad he's leaving, but thanking him for the service, and wishing him all the best. Instead, there's cheers when he gets brought off, and will be relieved when he's now gone.

He was awful today. And for the good years he was here, its sad if that's his final performance for us.

good post.

I think Jose is failing miserably with him in CM though. He’s not a player for a CM2. He was our number 10, the creator, for 6 years. You play to his strengths. Not his biggest weakness in a double pivot CM. That’s so poor management. Against Brightob at Home when we’re chasing a goal? Sure. But not against the european leaders and then parking the buss. Baffles me.

Completely. The longest goodbye...

"Shirt never made it past the first man "

One of the comments in response to AG's tweet, it's a cruel but funny world sometimes.

Not just a bit of a tit. When he leaves he goes down as a nothing to me, a player I won’t remember or particular want to look back at with any sort of fondness. A bit like Berbatov, no matter how good he was for us, the way he left means I couldn’t care less about the guy.

Ultimately I want Eriksen to go to Inter or wherever and totally and utterly fail.

ramsey was the example of how a player should leave - 100% until he left

the dumb thing on CEs part is he might have got his Madrid move if he had kept performing instead of going to Inter

Half arsed performance is indicative of a player who desperately doesn't want to get injured ahead of an imminent transfer, in my observational experience.

Read he got booed off when subbed but didn’t see it. Anyone got a snip of his sub so I can hear if he was indeed booed??
I was in the south was no booing from us we just cheered louder when Gio came on, him and rose were bystanders hope neither start another game for us again!

I will support any player that gives 100%. But Eriksen has very obviously been phoning it in for some time now, and that is unacceptable. I hope he leaves as soon as possible, and his place goes to someone who gives two fucks about our club.

Nerazzurri and the midfielder find an agreement for a contract until 2024. Now we have to find the one with the Spurs: they want 20 million, but the Dane is about to contract ...
Reading time: 2 minutes

Inter and Christian Eriksen are ready to say yes. A verbal agreement for a contract until 2024 was sketched in the last few hours between the Nerazzurri leaders and the entourage of the Danish midfielder expiring in a contract with Tottenham. Obviously before moving on to the facts, the English club's consent is required for the immediate transfer and the CEO. Marotta has not yet made contact with Daniel Levy, number one of the Spurs. According to the London banks, the request for the tag fluctuates around 20 million euros, but in Viale della Liberazione they expect to get a lower price

dont fuck it up Daniel!
