Would need to get rid 3 players to not have someone missout on the UCL squad. 2 for the Prem.
Well if Gazzaniga doesn't leave I think we'd just leave him out and have a youth keeper as third choice for the EL. My guess is that we'll hold on to Aurier. Foyth and PG will leave whether on loan or permanently and Gedson might be left out of the EL squad.

Sissoko is the guy we really need to shift though. 31, no great use apart from as a very basic squad player and non HG. Even Will Hughes might become an interesting option to replace him. We were linked with him earlier in the window I think.

Is it not an issue having Bale, Gedson & Vincius on loan?

No. We can have multiple players on loan - the limit mainly applies to players signed domestically, and Bale, Gedson and Vinicius' parent clubs are all foreign clubs.

I'm not sure if the limit on signing more than two players on loan per window applies to all loan signings, but even if it does Gedson signed in January, so we're still fine.

Was it @Trix that said Benfica held the key to the rest of our window? Vinicius plus a failed attempt for Dias before moving on to Skriniar?

Foyth being linked with a loan to Villarreal

Carlos Vinícius on his way to Tottenham on loan

Call option set at 45 million euros. Agreement is tacked but not closed.

Carlos Vinícius is close to Tottenham on loan from Benfica , confirmed Maisfutebol .

On the table is a one-year loan with a call option set at 45 million euros.

The agreement is not yet closed, but at this time it is tacked and negotiations are underway to finalize the details that separate the 2019/20 League's best scorer from being José Mourinho's reinforcement in the Spurs.

It is recalled that recently, at the press conference after Benfica's victory over Moreirense, Jorge Jesus admitted the possibility of Vinícius leaving the team red.

The Tottenham should be more than likely fate of 25 - year - old than came to light in time past in exchange for 17 million euros.

Milik's future remains to be written. The Pole, who had entered Tottenham's goal list , sees England further and further away. The Spurs have indeed decided to stake everything on Vinicius of Benfica (on loan with the option to 36 million pounds).

It's so silly that Dier's not homegrown. The whole rule is there to make sure teams have english players in their squads. ?

€45m is a pretty steep fee for Carlos Vinicius. I imagine that would only be if certain bonuses are met like with Gedson

Never watched him play but from the clips floating about looks like has the ability to occupy defenders with his physicality and can bring others into the game. Looks good in the air and also seems to have decent mobility for a big man. Yes, probably not going to cause defences major problems with pace but doesn't look a complete slouch either. Seems to be in the right place at the right time a lot of the time and looks like he can really crack them with that left foot. Don't know just how dependant he is on his left foot though.

Interesting to know what his off the ball work is like as I think that is probably going to be key as to how he does over here. Both in terms of movement and the ability to press effectively from the top. Liverpool were linked to him in January and Klopp is very particular about the striker in his system having the ability to press effectively so if there was any truth in those links, maybe a good sign he is handy when it comes to pressing.

All in all, think the fact it is a loan with an option to purchase makes this a potentially very astute bit of business.

Ally Gold and Di Marzio are reporting that it's £36m (€40m), the extra €5m is probably in bonuses as you say.

Apparently it's just an option too, full steam ahead for Skriniar if that's the case.

Be stupidly good deal for us. We get Portuguese leagues top scorer on loan, if he’s great we buy him next summer if not we just get someone else. He fits the mould of striker Jose wants much better than others. As well as scoring goals he likes to bring others into positions of threat. This window has been pretty damn amazing, hope this one happens.
