I think the big thing is more admitting when people get it wrong rather than skulk off or double-down. We all get stuff wrong but when chances haven't been really given or concessions made for new player/bigger club etc etc then the fact some are so steadfastly rooted to their opinion is something to encourage them to own up to.Why? People have opinions on players and share it on a messageboard.
No need to apologise for anything. Sometimes people get it right, sometimes they get it wrong.
