Pending our injuries might make it on bench next weekend.
But he should be starting ahead of VDV at left back when we don't have Spence as a back up available. With his injury record already it's asking for trouble. It's not even with the advantage of hindsight- we all knew this.

Perhaps if we were playing some League One side at home, Reguilon was never going to start against City.

Ben would spark out anyone in the squad I reckon. Even Romero.
His last ever game for us, two footed tackle on Cash, headbutt the ref and spit at the linesman on his way off and then an up yours to the opposition fans before he walks down the tunnel. He's been bottling it all up over the years for one big explosive outburst.

Can't fault Benny D - he's such a good pro and never lets us down even though he's played so rarely this season...
I think one way or another we will be seeing a lot more of him for the next month or two. Certainly at LCB in the Europa, and probably covering both LCB and LB from the bench in the league.

I'm happy with that.

Still wouldn’t be out-Kudus-ing Kudus, needs to try harder.

Dependable, his minutes in cup games have prepared him for slotting in seamlessly today

We're going to need him again this Thursday, so it's good that he seems to be in form and not rusty.

He’ll sail off into the sunset in the summer when his contract expires and I hope he gets the recognition before then.

Stepping up with another solid performance. Great tackle before one of the goals also.

Said it in the match thread but I genuinely believe he is our best defender. I really like him and Dragusin as a partnership.

We should not let him sail away under any circumstances

7/10 every time he plays without fail.

If he doesn't get a renewal he best get the recognition he deserves from the club. Give him a coaching job, I reckon he's going to be a good manager when he retires.
