Seems an intelligent lad. I would imagine decent school. Good upbringing.
Younger brother coming ?

He was very good going forward but he lacks some real pace for rb he was done a fair few times down that side. Very good going forward

He’s just a supremely gifted footballer.

To be able to hold his own in so many positions, at this stage of his career is great - it’ll give him a better appreciation of the game and will mean he gets more game time

He's fantastic. Under so much pressure in our own corner, and he has the skill/temperament/confidence/ability far beyond his years to twist and turn his way out of it and get the ball to a player up the pitch.

He looked in pain at the end, Hoddle mentioned it, but I think he "just" took a boot to the gentleman area when he was making that challenge.

So so good, calm on the ball. Would like to see him in his favoured position in CM soon but as long as he’s getting minutes that’s the main thing currently.

Good experience for him. Learning different positions should give him more knowledge of how TEAM performance works. Angle’s doing great with the youngsters.

Good that he's getting top level experience still and as other have said he's handled that really well. That being said I can't wait to see him develop more in his actual position.

That's as good a performance from an 18 year old for spurs as I can remember. He has the lot to be a top player. Has everything to develop into our holding midfielder for years to come if he stays free of injuries.

Been looking for a compilation of him in the game last night - has anyone seen one? Found one for Moore (it’s impressive) but not Gray

I don’t like to go overboard about a player. Especially if I’ve only seen a smattering of them playing in our team. But, this kid is something special.

He is a Swiss Army knife at the moment, but will likely end up in midfield. He had the odd poor moment or two during the game, but with the exception of Porro and Romero, so did everyone else.

You can tell he is experienced playing at a higher level. A year+ with Leeds playing against quality opposition has clearly helped accelerate his development. In particular, his confidence and decision making.

Contrast with Bergvall, who I think may have an even higher ceiling than Archie, who struggled at times last night. But that should be expected, as this is all new to him. If he’d played just as many games against the same level of opponents as Archie has, I think he would look just as smooth.

But.. wow. I think he will definitely play for England. How many caps will be dependent on how badly he wants it. As the essential tools are there already.
