He is obviously a better midfield player than Sarr

He is a different midfield player than Sarr.

Between the two - I would prefer that Sarr learn to play the deeper, more defensive role, and Gray learns the more expansive box-to-box roles.

But, both can be very good in the same midfield - they just have different skills.

Agree terrible at defending but nice on the ball. Few too many sloppy passes but has the right intent.
