Just got the email through to vote. For the first time in a while I haven’t got a clear idea of who I’d like to win. My head says Lo Celso but has he actually done enough or am I just distracted by any slight sign of creativity...

So convince me, who should get my vote and why?

There’s no clear standout, which I think tells a lot about this season. But it’s Son for me.

He kept us firing when Kane was injured before the restart [until he ultimately was injured as well].

Gio the star of late, but I think in terms of the whole season it goes to Son. Would love to hear others opinions though as well as I’m not truly sold on anyone.

I'd spoil my ballot paper by drawing a massive growler across it. Bald of course, in the hope Levy gets the irony.

I wouldn't vote for any of them.

It’s a hard call..

Aurier for shits and giggles? Or the ball boy for assist of the season ?

But you’re right it’s probably Son by default.

Georges-Kevin Nkoudou came on for the last six minutes of our game against Villa.

In those six minutes, there were five shots (two for them, three for us) and one goal (for us) to make it a 3-1 victory.

Extrapolating from that, I like to think that, in an alternative universe where he didn't go to Besiktas, this could have been GKN's break-out season, where his very presence on the field would have led to a ridiculously open and entertaining brand of football, with scores of chances and hatfuls of goals every game. It would have made the Ardiles days seem George Graham-esque in comparison. We may not have won anything, but it would have been glorious fun and certainly much more entertaining than the forty-odd games that have followed.

For that reason then, and because I can't think of anyone else who absolutely deserves it, GKN is my player of the season.

Son, scored one of the nicest goals I've seen in the league and he also improved his assist record. Currently in shit form though like almost everyone except Lloris.

Up until his injury against Villa Son was by far our best player this season. Unfortunately the pandemic meant Jose got to coach him for 4 weeks and he’s turned into a robot with zero creativity.
