One of our customers at work had the pleasure of fitting all of the boilers, generators, pipe line and plumbing fittings at the new players lodge.
Levy was very hands on apparently, made an effort to speak to each contractor on site and thanked them once their work had been done. Poch was much the same aswell, very warm and welcoming, my customer said it took him by surprise when he went in for a hug!
The only day the contractors weren't allowed on site were the 2 days leading up to Moura signing.
Some of the stuff that has been fitted is absolutely unreal and it makes you wonder if footballers actually have to think! If anybody is interested ill try my best to explain

If mods need a source im happy to provide one..although its slightly different to player ITK

I’ll try my best!

So after the players have their training session, warm down etc, their rooms have the temperature set automatically to help their bodies to recover, if they have a shower in the room, the room temperature will then increase/decrease depending on what the medical team deem necessary.

Their room temperature fluctuates if the players sleep during the day - ie, the room stays at a certain temperature to ensure a deeper sleep, helps with recoveries.

Each room has under floor heating and an under floor cooling.

The swimming pools are set at a certain temperature which should reduce any muscle tears, strains etc (I have no idea how this is calculated!)

Levy wasn’t happy with how the green area around the players lodge was looking, so threw approximately £500,000 at it to get it looking how he wanted.

The boilers and pipes were all hidden away in cupboards but Levy was so happy with the work and taken back by the technology fitted within the boilers that he asked if they could be shown in a more prominent way, so now they are in glass cases in each room.

That’s all I can remember for the time being, sorry it’s not that all exciting, when I next speak to my customer I’ll be sure to ask some more questions!

One thing that did come across and I’m sure has been said on here before, but Levy isn’t afraid to spend the money to get things looking right and how he wants them.

I love how hands on Levy is. I trust him to do whats best for the club. Not many fans of other teams can say that.
