Watching that comp makes me wonder why our players don't seem to shoot much from distance anymore, some of those balls are gonna end up in the net boys, have a crack!

Wasn't Wanyama's Rocket Shot against Liverpool? Shoulda done a few of those in the final....

Don't forget Edman. What a goal.

From what I remember (I had had a few) didn't Sissoko try this on Saturday and smash it right over the bar?

Out in just 10 days on the 13th. First fixture guess ?

Liverpool (a)

There’s always a big six game 1st weekend and just sort of naff stunt PL would pull. “ The rematch” blah blah.

will make a change to play at Anfield 1st half of the season, rather than 2nd half. don't think that has happened in the last 10 years

more likely be Man U (a) if we get a big fixture, Liverpool are usually in our 1st 5 homes

I want some early "easy" games as it looks like we may be in a state of transition with outgoings and new, key signings that will need time to bed in. We're also not the best of starters to a new season.

And those of us of a certain generation GHod scored an absolute classic from 35 yards in the 80''s, again in the Kop end.

I was there on a corporate in the main stand. Felt very lonely jumping up to celebrate that goal. Last game of the season with the League Trophy being presented to Liverpool at the end of the game. Managed to sneak out during the celebrations.

Still, we had the Cup Final the following week to look forward to.

Not ready for this..:X3:

Exactly how I feel Kev. I think the whole of Tottenham including management and fans need a few weeks off from everything football and almost hit the reset button.

As stupid and optimistic as this may sound but I believe that with three or four astute signings we can challenge for the league next season. Hopefully this defeat will be the driving force for Poch and a few of our big players to finally achieve what we’ve been craving for.

My only concern is that the turnover of playing staff will be too much and we’ll lose that squad harmony that has been built over the last 4 years. Hopefully this is where Poch and our other senior players will come in to the equation.

Let’s hope that Levy doesn’t fancy a few weeks off from everything though.

Hoping they are kind over Christmas as I'm visiting family this year and I'm gagging to take my boy to a game
