Pulis kept them up through the force of his personality but he had no illusions about the weakness of his squad, which is why he walked when he wasn't given the transfer budget he felt he needed. CP are exactly where they would expect to be, given their lack of investment, and I think that Warnock was the only daft bugger willing to take over the doomed ship.

I didn't actually think he was doing that badly, it's never fair to judge a manager during the xmas period for so many reasons. If they were looking at letting him go then they should've at least waited until January, find a gap in their schedule and replace him then. It's not fair on Warnock or his replacement.
