Fair play mate, it’s all part of the game that we have different opinions, I think he’s a good player, and think he will do well for us. Southampton fans loved him the season before last, and he’s playing a different role there than I think he’d be asked to play here. Honestly, I’m as likely to be wrong as you are as to how he’ll do. We can only guess based on what we’ve seen (or in some cases, not saying you, what we’ve read).
Yeh, the main reason this forum exists is to remind us how wrong we can all be.

Think I'd take that.

To each his own I suppose.
I would exercise patience with Ndombele 1 more season, and for all the flak Sissoko gets on here he was consistently trusted by Poch and now he's constantly picked by Jose. I personally respect his work ethic on the pitch. He's a team player.

To be fair though, through the period since Dembele's peak and the transition to Sissoko we've gone from finishing 2nd on 86 points, to 6th on 59 points. We've massively declined in CM. Winks, Sissoko and Lo Celso is a massive decline from Vic, Mousa and Eriksen. I too like Sissoko's work ethic, but he's just not of the required standard if we want to get back to challenging at the top.

I really would like to NDombele succeed as he's so skilled. I love that kind of player. But when we were linked with Brozkovic today, even though he'll soon be 28, I couldn't help but think how god damn hard we'd be to beat with him and PEH playing behind Lo Celso.

For Brozovic’s role, 27 is no age. He’d be a brilliant signing in that position, probably as good as we could possibly get. But I don’t see it as likely that we get both him and Hojbjerg.

KWP is close to signing for Southampton as part of PEH deal.

Awesome if true. Great to get done soon, happy we get our man and happy for KWP too. Feel like we messed his development up a bit and he has earned a nice landing spot like this. Will always wonder what might have been if we’d have gotten him loaned out sooner, but so be it.

Correct sissoko and winks got no we’re near the starting 11 during the peak and the decline since they became starters is there for all to see

Happy for him. Think he'll do well at Southampton.

I'll be happy for him if he can make a good PL career out of the move. He seems like a genuinely nice chap.

But I really thought that Edwards, Onomah and KWP could be good players for us - but we ruined their development ad transition to the first team. Shame.

Thanks @Tottenhamboys

Would be good to get this business out of the way nice and early so we can move on to other areas (RB, backup ST, etc...). Would be good for Hojbjerg too so he can get settled in quickly. As for KWP I wish him all the best. Always good to see our youth products do well (similar to Onomah at Fulham).

Massive upgrade on what we have imo. Also adds a bit of steel / shithousery which you need to play Mourinho's style.

I'm curious as to whether Mourinho wants another new midfielder alongside Hojbjerg or if he feels he can fit GLC and Ndombele around him. I'm a little cautious on Brozovic- he had a great world cup and plays great games but is inconsistent in Serie A and has a number of disciplinary issues which Marotta loathes (hence why he wants to sell him).

Conte absolutely loves Brozovic and apparently, he wants to go out from inter milan if they sell Brozovic ..

Not sure that we can carry the can for Edwards or onomah. They got loans, they didn’t show the maturity or promise their potential had suggested.

KWP, we should have got a loan at least a season ago.
