Oh...he looked very good last night.

But can he perform once I've transferred him into my dream team. I've ruined many a good player.

Still to painful to try and remember last Sunday but was this fella on the pitch when it went tits up or had he been taken off?

Seems like he’s visibly thriving off playing with quality players. Not something he had at Saints. Him and N’dombele seem to have a connection on the pitch already.

That's a fair point Monkey - if he is so good how did we concede 3 in 13 minutes.
As you say it is still painful but from memory
1. The consolation goal no sweat at 3-1 with (from ko) 12 mins left incl. injury - the marker was Sissonlyajoko who never left the ground.
2. The killer - great interplay on our left flank and a great cross cant remember where Hugo was but I think if Sanchez had left it their #20 had got in front of Aurier and would have. Reggy didnt cover himself in glory out there and Moura all I remember is him losing interest and jogging into out box.
Now we are jittery and the script has been written for
3.Some dubious free kick in an extremely dangerous area for us.
The rest is history.
Can you remember as lads having really tough fights and then suddenly they are not as strong as they were and you just know you have it well that was the Spanners on Sunday.

As I say all from memory so if there is anything incorrect carry on I havent revisited this in fact I swore not to but was prompted to from another board and it is amazing what you pick up on 2nd 3rd viewings.

I think we can all agree and finally put the argument to bed once and for all. Southampton fans don’t know their ass from their elbow when it comes to footballers.
Disagree. My saints friend said Walcott would be England's saviour many years ago. There is still time he could be right

I don’t know. From a few of the games I’d seen him there I didn’t think he was that great and was sceptical he’d have the impact we needed. I think playing with better players has definitely helped him. I do think he would be even better with a better physical presence next to him than sissoko. You can see he has made a better partnership with him than winks But sissoko isn’t good enough. Get another tough and physical body in there next to him and he will be even better and not have to do as much work as he’s been doing. Even getting one in during the next window would be my preference.

Will happily admit to looking like a clown for thinking he'd be nothing more than a decent squad player for us. He's been just what we needed.

Great performance from him tonight. He’s starting to remind me of Scott Parker a bit in that he always has at least a 7/10 performance and is a massive leader in the middle.

Yeah I admit to having my doubts about whether he was the right type of DM we needed, but he’s been a very shrewd signing and already a player we cannot afford to get injured.

Hopefully Skipp can come back as the player to rotate with Højbjerg next season.

To really give him a shot hopefully Sissoko makes way and obviously Gedson's loan will come to an end you'd think. Hojbjerg, Ndombele, Lo Celso, Winks, Alli, Skipp is scary good if you're playing 3 man midfields.

Love his mentality. Exactly why we should always be looking to sign players that are products from Bayern, Real Madrid, Barcelona, etc. They have that winning DNA instilled in them at such an early age and that carries over. Reguilon looks to have those same battling qualities.

Would honestly have no problem making him club captain this early in his Spurs career.

Soldado, Dos Santos, not always a for sure success.
