Borussia Dortmund have placed a bid for Newcastle and Tottenham target Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.
According to reports in France, Champions League runners-up Dortmund have offered St Etienne £12m for their star striker, who hit 19 goals in 37 Ligue 1 outings last season.
But, although the deal does include performance-related add-ons, it is likely to fall well below St Etienne's asking price, thought to be in excess of £20m.

The 24-year-old is wanted by a long list of clubs across Europe, including the Premier League pair, but a move to Dortmund would appeal to him because it would mean the chance of Champions League football.
But it seems the Bundesliga club will have to boost their initial bid if they want to prize the Gabon international away from France.

I'd offer the same £12 and see if we can let Aubameyang force the move.

New quotes from him stating he prefers England. Also called Newcastle a good club which immediatley makes me question his intelligence and the validity of the quotes. On my phone or else I would post them.

Well he's not going to say Newcastle are a shit club, not in public anyway.

Not really sure why he'd be at the airport in Barcelona, is it the closest to St Etienne? (I don't even know where in France that is!)

Well, Paris seems just as close and in the same country. But maybe he was doing some holidaying in Spain? ;)

Lyon is closer, too.

Weird that Ryan would retweet it though. Perhaps PEA is off to the next stop of his Europe-wide whoring trip in search of a club to free him from the cheese-eaters.

Damn. Would have loved to get him for 15. Actually had a dream we got him, guess it just had to get Spurs'd up like real life.

Reus, PEA and Lewandowski with maybe Eriksen in the hole will just destroy squads.

Edit: And I totally forgot about Kuba. Jesus.

I think PEA will be to replace Lewandowski. It will still be an awesome line up, but Gotze is hard to replace, so I think their attack will be slighlty worse than last year (but only Slightly).

Anyway, it is Sky Italia reporting it, so could be a load of BS.

I can't see Lewandowski staying there this summer, think the relationship between club and player is too broken down now.
Dortmund have said they wouldn't sell him to Bayern out of principle, wouldn't be surprised if either Manchester club or Real Madrid end up buying him though.

At the same time, I can see him sitting out the last year of the deal, Llorente-style, to get the move that he wants.
