Not sure what you were expecting in the pre-edit, but finding out I just added the second ‘my’ in the final sentence for clarity is a disappointment I’m guessing ?

Seems as if we agree anyway, I didn’t get that from your first post. ?
Was expecting something to the effect of ‘bugger off you dashingly handsome and intimidatingly clever miscreant’...

Actually, I just like seeing people’s initial reactions pre-reflection... albeit yours wasn’t at all different from the end result :)

People say no to Grealish and no to coutinho, what sort of players do our fans want?

Not that I even think he’d end up here, but these are definitely players to be looking at if available (especially if eriksen was sold) Wouldn’t Liverpool be interested in taking him back? Any clauses etc

Coutinho would be fantastic, class, proper talent , big name, and Poch would sort him out confidence wise etc etc and knows him from espanyol ....... just financially can not see it happening at all

I’d take him for a reasonable price; he’s no Eriksen replacement though, he plays his best football further up the pitch.

Hasn't got the work ethic
He doesn't fit the 'no dicks` policy
And most importantly he is massively overrated, or was when barca signed him.

I personally think he fits in the' luxury player group, these types of players don't fit our model. Son, allí, kane, lamela, Moura, eriksen all work their tits off for us.

Would coutihno be willing to do that?

Definite no thanks.
He'd contributes almost as little as Ozil out of possession.

I’ve never really took an interest in coutinhos work rate but surely it’s not as bad as Ozil, considering klopp likes his team to press just as much (if not more)

I did say "almost". No one is as lazy as Ozil...goes without saying. :ROFLMAO:

From what I've seen of Coutinho, his defensive contribution was a real issue when he first joined Liverpool, but noticeably improved in his last season under Klopp. I would still put him behind Eriksen for this though...and that's the player our fans give most stick to.

A few articles linking us with an £80m bid this morning. We are getting to Utd levels of links at the moment that I actually think the club are doing a good job of hiding the truth and the media are just throwing shit at the wall and seeing if anything sticks. Not the player we need. We want the skill without the luxury tag in my opinion

I'd take him just to score the winner at Anfield and the look on every Scouser as it happens

You just bumped an ancient thread because of a report from Don Balon, who are the worst media outlet in the world. Even Ricky Sacks won't mention them.

Rumours he's agreed to go to a prem side on loan with an option to buy (probably a bullshit link). I wonder if we're interested + the poch link * insert grasping at straws GIF*

One of Lo Celso or Fernandes, with Coutinho on loan and Eriksen scramming would be unreal tbf. Don't think it'd be us, though.

Actually would make a bit of sense, if we aren't certain Eriksen will sign the deal. A loan with option gives us coverage/surety in case he goes and allows us to free that salary back up if he resigns.
