Are there any basis for the new links?

The article I read seemed to suggest Neville might join on the basis that Pienaar is here. It just seemed like lazy journalism.

Dammit, harry treats the transfer market like a Car boot sale.! We don't want stuff that other people don't want cluttering up there space..

VDV was all Danial Levy !.. Maybe he should be in charge of the signings Completely.

Never boo'd in all my life, and disagree with it in general, but should he sign I think I will be compelled to go against my principles.

IMO would be a great signing... A leader on the pitch, with more CL league experience then our whole squad put together. Not a special player but always puts in a solid and reliable performance.

Did he not win the CL with Man Utd!!!! I might be wrong... I'm not sure to be honest... But he's defo played more Champions League football then our current squad.

He was an unused sub. And, no he hasn't got more champions league than our current squad! How have you come to this conclusion? Gallas on his own has more Champions League experience than Neville for a start, yet somehow you seem to think Neville has more Champions League experience than our entire squad. Madness this! Why do you say these things???

I hate this experience cliche rubbish.

Phil Neville has experience of being a bit part player for a team that won a bunch of stuff, he then got shipped off to Everton and has experience of finishing 5th-10th.

Over 250 games. Would much rather him at LB than Insua anyway.

I'm sorry but of after all that Diarra/Benzema/Suarez excitement we end up with Neville and Fabiano, I will weep. Somehow it shouldn't surprise me and maybe we will get that marquee signing but neither Neville or Fabiano are likely to smash our transfer record, as was reported by the ITK's.

So it's a no from me.

Well the last time Phil Neville played at left back was in 2006. I'd much rather bring in a young ACTUAL left back with potential than a mediocre right back and play him at left back.

I'd be pretty happy with Neville and Fabiano, although I'd maybe prefer a different striker if they were available.

Like Urby Emmanuel who went to Milan for 1.5 million Euros. Why do I think he would have cost us 15 million.
