Wouldn’t surprise me to see City swoop in, without any fuss.

Always thought it was doubtful to see us spending big on BOTH Solanke & Neto.

Doku, Savinho, Grealish, Foden, Bernardo, Bobb etc on the wings.

My guess is they would go for a striker backup to Haaland, but you never know.

City have been linked with Neto since forever so this shouldn’t come as a surprise. And if any club can afford to take a risk on him it’s City.

Bobb is the star of their pre season, Id probably rather go Eze for them and be prepared to let either him or Foden be false 9 if Haaland is out.
Let Grealish go as well.

Surely they don’t need another winger? Especially as they’re already adding Savio.

Although it’s City so who knows…

I'd imagine it's just a "they were once interested, they may still be" comment. Doubt they look to add him now but who knows

To the disagree the exact quote is - "The Wolves forward Pedro Neto is one of the players to have interested City." Note past tense

A rotation forward and a long term replacement/succession planning for de Bruyne & Rodri must be the order of the day for City.

And this is why we can't get over the line quickly with ambitious targets. A smart agent like Mendes will hold off in case a bigger suitor comes into play.

Frustrating for us as a club, but unfortunately something we have to deal with.

We may well still be able to get Neto in the end if the likes of City only kick the tyres, but it's a big reason why we struggle to make 'marquee' signings early.

Chill the meltdown already jeez.

'Neto has been one player of interest'. Doesn't say they're going for him and if they do then fine, we pivot to Eze.

Lets see how it pans out, if we've invested tons of time wooing a player to this point there is a good chance they are pretty bought in to us and Ange, sure City swooping in could change that but its not our first rodeo, I'm pretty sure we'd have a plan for such a scenario.

I don’t get the impression Eze is actually doable.
