Neto and a striker of some sort and i'm just about ok. Would be a 7/10 window with another few outgoings.
That would fall desperatly short of the optimism earlier in the window. If there was ever a window to really push etc...
I've been consistant in my opinion that our club needs a few 8-10/10 windows to really push us up to compete.
We are a filthy rich club.
But we've been here before and some 'Enic Outers' have a valid point to some degree.
I get holding out for a top 6 to come along. I get holding out for a top 9 as well.
But we've got big gaps still (LCB/LB, wingers etc).
Hopefully this week is the week to bring in at least 1 player to improve our first 11.

The spurs way would be we either miss out on him and spend the season talking about how amazing he’s been for another team….or we sign him and he gets a season ending injury after 3 weeks. That’s the spurs way.

Hmmm - if we're not there with the player, I wouldn't be holding my breath. I'm guessing (not fishing) that the guy is keeping his options open, which is understandable, but not idealalways polite .
