Even if we somehow don’t conclude the Neto deal this window, we absolutely have to target another RWF that provides direct competition to Johnson.Strong like from me. He’s our most important target IMO
No ifs
No buts

That rare instance when no ifs or buts allowed - but ands are acceptable.Even if we somehow don’t conclude the Neto deal this window, we absolutely have to target another RWF that provides direct competition to Johnson.

It's more about providing context. Listing the number of games a player has missed is not evidence of systemic injury problems. Similar to most clubs, we have world class medical insight, which is taken in account when players are signed, via their medical.I think signing him would be a huge gamble, you can dress it up as much as you want but the fact he’s only played the equivalent of 32 games over the last 3 seasons does not look good. Scoring only 3 goals and 10 assists.
If we do sign him obviously I’ll get behind him and hope for the best.

No part of signing him is a gamble, in terms of fitness. If he has increased injury risk, or evidence of long-term impact from injuries, that will show up in a medical.
Not trying to dress anything up. Instead trying to provide balance and some context as to how an elite sports club considers an athlete and their corresponding injury history when making a decision on them. Matches missed is more a worry to coaches concerned a player may have missed key periods of development (often more an issue for the younger lads) and the psychological impact following a long period out.I think signing him would be a huge gamble, you can dress it up as much as you want but the fact he’s only played the equivalent of 32 games over the last 3 seasons does not look good. This is before we run scans and performance testing to a very detailed level to establish if there is an active risk for the player, and subsequently the club with the amount of money involved nowadays. If there are any concerns we won't pass the player.
Hopefully this provides a little more context in addition to the original write up too.![]()
Lack of links? We know exactly who the targets are and have for weeks.I'm talking about the lack of links in general.
Things gathering pace nicely. But! Let’s not get too carried away yet, as anything could happen.
Just sprayed over a T at my local Netto.Well I just got his name tattooed on my chin.
Damn.Things gathering pace nicely. But! Let’s not get too carried away yet, as anything could happen.

Miles off being competitive? We finished 2 points off the CL last season. It was our first year in a completely new system, we were unlucky as hell with injuries, and we’ve got 3 players over 28 in our first team squad and about 15 24 and under.I’m frustrated as the squad is a million miles off being seriously competitive but trying to be positive at least. Having news that it’s being worked on is better than being told it’s dead or he’s off elsewhere.
Mate, nobody is "whining" about your post, they're just disagreeing with it.For all those whining about my post, please let me know which bit you disagree with over in the player thread.. As this is ITK discussion. You disagree on his injury record?? You don't think it's a big risk?? Curious. Feel free to tag me.
I will say as well mate that I think you kind of answered your own question in your original post. He's going to be used entirely differently here than how he's been used at Wolves. For all those whining about my post, please let me know which bit you disagree with over in the player thread..
