Yeah this is the most essentialStrong like from me. He’s our most important target IMO
Agreed, him in or starting front 3 just adds so much pace and danger.Yeah this is the most essential
Must be quite difficult to complete a deal given the time differences: when it’s 12-00 in London where Lange is, 20-00 in Korea where Ange, Skipp and Solomon (reflecting the info that a player swap will be involved) are, and 7-00 in Maryland where Neto is.
I can’t see anything happening until next week when everyone is in the same time zone.
Given how the pre-season has gone - and Sonny maybe moving back to LW, and Deki playing in the middle - getting RW competition seems like it should be our highest priority.Working on this one![]()
This should just be stickied at this pointWolves will absolutely snap our hand off for a player with his injury record.
Can someone please explain to me why (other than foaming at the mouth for a transfer) he would be good for us?
& if any neggers from the ITK want to chip in, and reply to me here... go ahead please.
On the injury front to give some balance to it, a fracture to the kneecap which he missed 297 days for doesn't make him injury prone. Its firstly, really rare and just extremely unlucky. In the same manner, rolling his ankle doesn't either which was his 2nd major injury.
This season he suffered injury to both hamstrings. Now for an explosive player like him this is could be deemed slightly more of a concern. With that said, it would be slightly more concerning if the same hamstring were to break down repeatedly.
For Neto, the right hamstring was injured after a run of playing 6 games in February and it was 1 minute into the 2nd half of the match. We are always most concerned about hamstrings in the first few minutes of a game, the first few minutes of the second half and the last period of the game once fatigued. Gary O'Neil actually took a risk on him in that game as it was said Neto was fatigued and was feeling his hamstring after their Newcastle game in the match prior. His minutes should have been managed and he probably should have sat the Fulham game out where he became injured.
This leaves us with the left hamstring injury he suffered in October and he missed a couple of months for. Which has been a fairly regular occurrence for lots of players since the 2022 world cup.
Interestingly met with the West Ham and Chelsea Sports Dr's last week and we discussed hamstrings a lot since there's been a huge uptick in injuries to them in the past 2 seasons across the league.
So I would say Neto has had a very unfortunate injury history, but given the context of them all I don't think this will put a top side from taking a chance on him as they'll be confident in dealing with the hamstring management given its a focus of a lot of medical departments this summer.
Him and his whole family are permanently injured Chelsea fans.Has Neto got a bad injury record ?
First I've heard of it tbhHas Neto got a bad injury record ?
So glad your jungle adventures are over #itkWorking on this one![]()
Ange's system requires fast wide forwards who can beat their man and create goal scoring chances. Neto fits that brief.Wolves will absolutely snap our hand off for a player with his injury record.

Think it’ll disappear after a season of actually being fit, just like with Kane (took longer outside spurs fans)Honestly can't be bothered with the comments first time Neto misses a game with injury, even if it's in February. Some of you donuts are going to give him this "injury prone" tag for his entire Spurs career if he signs.
Must be a severe brain injury then.Him and his whole family are permanently injured Chelsea fans.
