Tell the manager no IMOIf a specific player is supposedly the best fit, and that's his representative, then what should we instead do? Tell the manager no, or try anyway?
This is because you’re a badass Boss Bitch who should be in charge IMO.Tell the manager no IMO

100% agreeThis is because you’re a badass Boss Bitch who should be in charge IMO.
Because Mendes only wants to deal with Chelsea because of all the future trades he can be involved in? It's never about the one deal for Mendes.WLB said we were prepared to pay the same money? Surely that begs the question, why don’t we match their bid? I mean we still could right? After all, WLB also said that Neto was Ange’s no. 1 choice.
But if we have a second choice lined up that we now go for, what have we lost? If we've lost out on other players trying to jerk off Mendes, sure we shouldn't have bothered, but if we haven't then it's absolutely right to try if it's the player that's the best fit imo.Tell the manager no IMO
Cannot see us stumping up what it would take to get Raphinha in wages and transfer fee, he’s 28 in December.Be interesting to see what other options we have to go for .
Surely our new look scouting team will have 2-3 others and ground work may already have been made .
Raphinha is the obvious one premier league experience and probably surplus to requirements at Barcelona. They have many options now
I just think that if a manager identifies a Mendes player we say 'find an alternative'.But if we have a second choice lined up that we now go for, what have we lost? If we've lost out on other players trying to jerk off Mendes, sure we shouldn't have bothered, but if we haven't then it's absolutely right to try if it's the player that's the best fit imo.
As it stands the only difference between telling Ange no from the start and potentially having an issue there, and where we find ourselves now, is a few griping Tottenham fans blaming Daniel Levy (even though we've been advised that it's nothing to do with him), and that's just the history of the Tottenham.

Although that could be the more complicated one alluded too.
No chance he can spell it thohe's only saying that because he can just about pronounce his name.

We've now had itk from two separate sources (@Hercules and Prof from COYS) saying we're already quite far along with at least one mystery name.Only silver lining is we weren’t strung along so late that we’d be scrambling for an alternative and most likely ending up with crap. Yes it’s relatively late but there still time to get a good player
No chance, Danny D would cut his balls off and that’s before his daughter gets to him!I'd try and take Bowen off West Ham.
