I’ve tried to maintain a stoic indifference to this absurd transfer for long enough, but reading that he has agreed personal terms has pulled me in.

It’s fucking happening. I can feel it in my cock vein.

Personal Terms? Was that ITK reported or was it Twitter / Journo ?
Thanks

I just cant see this one. The money, him wanting to come, just too many reasons why it seems like smoke and mirrors to me

Agreed doesn't mean anything. Everything has to be on paper. Its not simple to do a transaction like this- lot many details to be put on paper. Why do you think every South American player deal always takes time ?

If all parties have the negotiations done & agreed, only then anything offcial starts. Ofcours our club would have done the necessary prep work already. But still window shuts at 1700, we only have 20 hours or so.

How do we know that all the legal documents have’nt already been drawn up and just awaiting a signature pending resolution of the image rights problem

I don't. No one outside knows. Thats the fact. But historically, no South American player deal happens easily, especially one that involves 3rd party disputes. Reason because of their 3rd party ownership model etc etc
I know what I say sounds bitter, but like it or not, time is against us.
I hope we do it quickly, if there is agreement to proceed.

I dont want another Moutinho

I honestly can't image we'd keep working on this one much longer if we didn't think we could come to a solution on the 3rd party rights. We must be close enough with them that we think it's worth chasing.

Levy will probably use the fundraiser in the negotiations.

- So, how much do you offer for Paolos image rights?

- You get £135 paid in installments over 5 years.

Spare a thought for me. I'll be travelling to Luton for the duration of the final 4 hours of the window, landing just after 5pm. On a positive note, I'll be at WHL on Saturday when we parade GLC, Dybala and Sessegnon.

We could potentially have a bit more time to complete the paperwork

If I remember correctly, the FA often grant extensions if both parties submit forms outlining a deal

I was going to say "hopefully the pilot's a yid and he announces it to the cabin in joy". But on second thoughts if he is indeed a Spurs fan, and hears that we've signed no one, he'll just plunge into the Alps.
