I would hope if the manager rates him he can get a start when we play colchester in a couple weeks time.

OR... sign for a used to be good team like Utd or Chelsea and you are guaranteed a place in the senior squad wither you play first team football for your club or not.

Only a matter of time before he gets a run in one of the cups
This is a good idea for developing young players in theory. But it only takes a cup upset to halt players progress by a year. Definitely include them as much as possible, but they need to either start picking up some league minutes or get a decent level of loan move. As Parrott is now somehow second choice striker (other than our more flexible options of Son and Moura) he needs to start getting on the bench in league games, particularly with Kane’s perpetual injury record.

And just to add, our squad of 25 for the CL and not the first 11 would beat Ireland, so I'm not so sure its a quality thing, is he saying its match fitness ? Cause he looks fit enough to me.

Oi! We lost to Newcastle at home. Don’t overestimate us.
