I hope we draw West Ham in a cup now. I also wonder if Mr Gold will rename his fish...I seem to remember they were called Scott and Parker

Great signing!!!!

Writers' player of the year, in a team that got relegated. Says it all about the guy's character and ability.

Plus...

It's a myth that SP and Sandro are both defensive midfielders.

SP grabs more goals that Luka, and I see Sandro in the opponents' area more than ours. I reckon that a midfield of Sp and Sandro, could do a fair bit of damage. Luka may have to fight for his place.

I would say that both Parker and Sandro are MIDFIELDERS cappable of playing both offensive and defensive. Playing together they could switch around and could become a good pairing.

Would give alot of steel on the spurs midfield and give our defense some really wanted help.

Quality player. More strength in the middle is exactly what we need. Add Parker to Ade and hopefully Cahill and we've strengthened quite a bit. Friedel seemed like an odd signing, but certainly a pretty reliable and experienced player. A couple of promising kids too... Not a bad window really. And wasn't there ITK talk of a last minute present?

Potentially a very good partner for Modric. I think it's a good signing. However some of our fans actually think Football Manager is real.

He is very vocal and has an incredible drive and will to get stuck in and perform, a classic old-fashioned 110% player.

Not happy with the signing of Parker, but if it was a fee of about £6mill, it is alright.

Parker is a spurs fan too is he not? So he will give even more?

yep so expect him to run his heart out and @spursking i thin diarra would be a better fit but after the wage issues parker is a great second choice imo

I'm happy with Parker - he's a leader, will press any team like fuck, passes well, scores from midfield...I think we'll warm to him pretty quickly.

On the subject of Wilson - also a top player but aside from the Milan game & a couple of others, I'm not sure his head's been right since his brother died & a new start might be the best thing for him. Good luck to him...

Not to mention turning us down for Newcastle and West Ham previously.
