Ok a very rough poll of where we all see our squad in terms of our personal player by player expectation / against where we think they are at the moment.
Left out a few at present ratings thru lack of time played
---------------Expectation v Present
Hugo Lloris - 90 / 82 Up and down....heart attack material with the pass pass from the back
Gazzaniga - 75 / 75 Limited time but disappointing for Maddison Leicester goal
Rose - 88 / 80 Surprised he stayed....Can't get past his jog trot recovery
Toby - 90 / 88 Maintaining a good standard considering contract stuff
Vert - 90 / 84 Strange season start...still a good player
KWP - 75 / 70 Limited in most senses of the word
Sanchez - 82 / 73 Played out of position several times looks unhappy
Foyth - 78 / No measure but expected him to be Poch's RB
Aurier - 80 / 70 Casual....roll on January
Davies - 78 / 75 Limited runs but can still do a job
Winks - 82 / 85 All heart but could do with a buddy alongside him
Lamela - 85 / 87 Playing well
Wanyama - 78 / 70 Diminishing as we speak
Dier - 82 / 74 Needs a run in the minor cups...oh wait
Sissoko - 85 / 83 Still a beast....going to be parked at RB
Lo Celso - 85 / No measure Very difficult to estimate
Sessegnon - 80 / No measure Very difficult to estimate but hope will end up our LB
Dele - 88 / 72 Hopefully not a terminal decline...fitness the problem
Eriksen - 90 / 73 Made his own bed...
Moura - 85 / 77 Unlucky to be on the outside
Ndombele - 88 / 84 Good and bad....fitness will come
Skipp - 77 / 77 Honest
Son - 90 / 92 Still brilliant and the rest need to watch this guy for application
Kane - 100 / 88 Carrying big expectations....better wide delivery would help him

The entire team is underperforming besides for Kane, Lamela, Son and Ndombele. Some more than others. I think its a mixture of formation and players wanting out or that know they have no future here

I was rating Toby as one of our best players of the season, but then came Tuesday and I just don't know what to think anymore.

Kane and Son - the best we have by far.

Everyone else - really wouldn’t be bothered if we sold any of them.

Am I the only one who’s actually been really, really impressed by Ndombele? I thought he’d take a season to bed in but he’s shown in glimpses he’s a fucking outstanding footballer. Fitness way off at the moment but at times he looks like Dembele but with an extra trick and a better final pass delivery than Eriksen!

He was the best player on the pitch against Bayern in the first half.

About expectations I guess!

I think due to the entire squads performances recently a lot of fans are forgetting that Ndombele and Lo Celso (injuries) are potentially world class players.

I can see both of them developing into this category of Midfielders, but when the team as a whole is under performing for whatever reason, we tend to forget why we spent so much money on these two additions.

Fitness and Consistency will come with time, we are truly in for a treat when they are both up to speed and our current issues are stamped out.

Does anyone think Moura gets lost/isolated in games and struggles to link play

I think his fitness has made him look worse than he has been.

There are people blaming Poch for not spending and clearly you can see why he waited. Quality is by far best waiting for, we've had problems in the past buying second and third choice and within a season or two we end up wanting rid. The next player out of the door looks like it will be Aurier unless he has a Sissoko turn around.

100% agreed, I like how in the previous window we got exactly what Poch asked for, and almost signed a worldie in Dybala and I would love it if we could follow the same pattern moving forward.

Buying quality players on the cusp of being world class, along with talented youngsters is the way forward for us. I don't want anymore stop gap signings, as you said they will just end up being problems to move on from in 2-3 seasons time.

He seems to play his best when he's the main man up top. He did great when Son and Kane were out but when he plays with them...
Moura and Son need to be more consistent imo both can be world class on form and its so frustrating how lackey-daisy they both can be.

Hugo Lloris - 90 / 85 more up than down. Constantly pulls off match/point saving saves (if that makes any sense) which people tend to forget after a while. I can't think of another keeper who I'd much rather have (and who would realistically come and play for us)
Gazzaniga - 75 / 75 does an ok job as a backup goalie. can't really expect any more from him
Rose - 80 / 50 constant liability....needs to be shipped out asap
Toby - 90 / 80 think the other defenders around him aren't helping him much but his form of late hasn't been great. I'd play him till the end of the season and we all know he's off after that anyway
Vert - 90 / 75 age catching up with him. Looks a yard slower than previous seasons. As with Toby, expect this to be his last season with us
KWP - 75 / 60 not good enough defensively to command a regular start for us. He'd probably do ok for a mid-table club / championship side
Sanchez - 85 / 70 not sure what's happened to him. Looked great when he first joined but his confidence seems to have taken a hit. I think Poch is right to persevere with him because there's still a talent there
Foyth - 75 / 70 No measure but expect him to be Poch's RB log term
Aurier - 80 / 50 not consistent enough. not sure who'd be stupid enough to take him off us (apart from a turkish club perhaps!)....especially if lord levite wants to make a profit out of the sale!
Davies - 80 / 78 no frills but can be a better option than rose if given a decent run in the side. He's previously done well whenever he's been given a sustained run in the side
Winks - 82 / 85 been our most consistent player this season
Lamela - 85 / 87 playing consistently....waiting for him to pick up an injury any time now
Wanyama - 55 / 40 damaged beyond repair
Dier - 75 / No measure Needs a run of games. with jan and sanchez's form, I'd be tempted to try him as a centre back
Sissoko - 85 / 90 starting to hit form again after a sluggish start to the season. Our best right back right now
Lo Celso - 90 / No measure Eriksen's long term replacement. showed some neat touches....gutted he got injured on international duty. Still don't understand why he was allowed to go for such pointless friendlies.....this is the only area where I think Poch needs to take a tougher stance going ahead. I still think Kane representing England u21's all those years ago has had an impact on him physically as he went three full seasons without any proper rest. Just don't see any other top class managers allowing this sort of nonsense.
Sessegnon - 80 / No measure Very difficult to estimate but hope will end up our LB
Dele - 88 / 60 needs to change his name to dilly dally...been absolutely shite for well over a year now
Eriksen - 90 / 65 Not sure if his drop in form is down to fatigue (some people forget he's been playing since the age of 16) or if his heart's just not in it. Shouldn't be an automatic starter on current form
Moura - 82 / 80 he's playing as well as he can and has. performances are erratic and inconsistent. I'm not sure what to make of him and it appears neither does Poch
Ndombele - 85 / 80 Good and bad....starting to show flashes of brilliance. I've no doubt he'll come good in the long run
Skipp - 70 / 70 Home grown
Son - 90 / 83 Still lacking the consistency. He's reached an age where he really needs to show he can do it week in week out or he'll never receive the accolades his talent clearly deserves
Kane - 100 / 88 Carrying big expectations....should be our captain. Let's enjoy watching him while he's here. Expect him to be flogged off by lord levite at the end of next season
