29k ahead of me in the queue. Pointless.

I suppose buying a season ticket is the only guaranteed way these days, but when I can only make it in for 2 or 3 games a season it's a bit shit.
Don't know if it will last but as a season ticket holder you can actually make money even if you can only get to two or three games . If it is still the same as last season when a ST puts their ticket on the exchange they get get credited with the full match day price. If you could get a seat in the south stand lower you are pretty much guaranteed to be able to sell every game, it would cost you £1071 to buy the ST, if you sold for every game you would get back £1257 .
Cat A six games at £84 , Cat B nine games at £61 , Cat C four games at £51 , might get a few questions from the club about selling every game but according to the new ticket charter as long as the seat is occupied by selling on the exchange or ticket share it's OK.

Wow, very interesting.

Bit of a faff to have to list almost every game on the exchange, but if that's the guaranteed method to have tickets for the 2 or 3 games you can actually go to then it could be worth it.

In terms of the ticket charter as long as the tickets are being exchanged to registered members then the club are happy - they keep all the money and have a full stadium of client reference numbers every game.

I joined the queue at about 8:45 and was 16k when it paused. Managed to get 2 together for Brentford in south lower. You can still get lucky and find some together for Everton and Brentford game if you do find seats for me option.

How easy is it to specify where you want season ticket? I’d take one in the south lower but don’t want to apply/pay for one somewhere else.

I looked briefly this year (think I've been offered one every year since our first season at Wembley but still yet to bite the bullet...) and I think it's reasonably easy to do. I would've been looking at 503 to be close to mates who already have them.

Basically, your first season ticket is going to be wherever you can get one/whatever is offered to you.

On subsequent renewals you are able to put in a seat request and if there any spare seats in that block, then they will move you but it’s not guaranteed.

The problem is getting a season ticket for a seat that is in a desirable position, anywhere on the lower tier has to be favourite but once you get up to the upper tiers then probably harder to sell for some matches like Brentford possibly but it would depend on the seat front rows good , higher up not so good.

That's the hard bit , you can only get those seats that have been given up by a season ticket holder who has not renewed and that's assuming you can trust the club to offer the best seats to those on the waiting list.
When Liverpool increased capacity at Anfield they did not offer any of that increase to new season ticket holders, matchday pricing brings in more money for clubs guaranteed to sell every game. On the other hand selling ST's brings in a lump sum before the season starts

This article shows Spurs at 45,000 ST's , think that is slightly over estimate believe it's around 43,000, figures may be out but Spurs do offer a high ratio of the stadium capacity to St's which is not so good for members.

The most annoying thing is half of people are queueing because of Son, not because of Spurs
Probably be the same for next 10 years , Yang Min-hyuk , still TFL will be happy , more journeys from New Malden to White Hart Lane on Spurs matchdays for the foreseeable . :)

This passive aggressive racism has to stop.

I dont care where they come from, if they come to support spurs its fine by me.

As an oriental ST holder I have enough grief from away fans not needed from fellow spurs.

Just a harmless comment to an over exaggeration by yid121 about ticket queueing, all fans are welcome regardless.
My own family is pretty mixed , British, Italian, Thai and Jamaican and even worse Spurs, Arsenal, Chelsea , Liverpool & Juve :)

Joined the queue first night, found 40,000 ahead of me, kept nipping in and our for a couple of hours, suddenly the numbers rapidly fell. I'm visiting from Oz and will only be around for the opener against Everton. Finally got to the purchase screen, saw about a dozen green lights flashing, missed the bloody lot. Never even tried the second night, went back yesterday, opened up the original email, saw one green light, around halfway line in east stand, fairly elevated. Bought it and cant believe my luck. perhaps there should be a portal for one game only punters from overseas.

I picked up a couple of Everton ones this evening. Quite a few popping up. Probably could have waited to get a better seat but just wanted to get them sorted.

Thank you.

I have also managed to get a couple of seats together for the Everton game.
Decent! I didn’t manage to get them together. Should probably be able to reach her with a paper aeroplane though..

For those with experience... For the Arsenal game, will tickets continue to hit exchange? does exchange see a flurry close to match day?

EDIT: nervermind, one just came up and i snagged it :)
