If we don’t win something this season I’m pretty sure Kane will be leaving to be honest. Part of the reason it makes more sense to me to go for a younger option who can have a year to acclimatise to the club
Kane is leaving every next season since 2015, it didn't happen. Even if he is leaving he would leave for 150m+ so Watkins won't be his replacement.

Watkins can play also as a winger so after Parrott will be ready he can replace Lucas or Lamela there

I imagine Brenford are hoping for an auction to take place. Which in this circumstance wouldn't suit us, so I believe to get this one over the line I imagine it will be selling the club to him. Come play and learn off Kane, state of the art training centre with a world class stadium. Most importantly Ollie we have 4 competitions to play through so plenty of game time available. At this point if he were to buy in and kind of make his choice, kind if kills an auction.

This is best signing for me. Young, homegrown and good back up to Kane. Also can play alongside Kane or off the wing.

Would give us great flexibility across attacking positions.
I agree but hes not as young as most think. Coming up 25 in a few months

At a reasonable price, this signing makes too much sense. Homegrown, capable of playing through the middle or out wide. He’s a good height at 5’11, and despite not having the biggest frame, he’s really good at playing with his back to goal, holding up the ball etc.

Please Spurs.

Quality player and would be a top signing. We could also do with some of their wide players. Significantly better service from the flanks that what we're used to seeing.

Watched quite a few Brentford games post-restart (and wanted them to come up). He always looked super lively - like others, I was hoping for this link. He will definitely get a Prem move this window.

Him being almost 25 might work in our favour, chance to join a club our size might be harder to turn down.

Hope it's true and we manage to sell couple of players to finance this one.

Never seen him play but I already like him more than any of our other links.

Maybe we could loan Brentford a couple of players as a sweetener

The Brentford business model is every player has a price so it should genuinely be down to the player and not the cash involved in this instance.

Still think Smith being Villa manager will be a draw for him, that and a ready made fit to start up top for Villa.
