That Spurs team was well on the way to decline in '76, and we went down that season - the one bright spot in a totally disappointing season.

Living in Manchester as a teenager at the time, I saw this game......plus both the 8-2 loss at Derby and the 5-0 at Man City that sent us down.

Dark times, and miles away from earlier witnessing Martin Peters score all 4 in a 4-1 win in 1972, and Ralph Coates effectively sending them down in a 1-0 win in 1974.
