John Polston.
Primarily because I went to school with him and played in both school and district sides with him.
I know he went into captain Norwich City but that's about it.

John Polston had a decent career at Norwich now if you had said his brother Andy then you would have touched the obscure - one of the few sets of brothers possibly the only set of brothers to appear for Spurs in the same game -

Yeah, Calum Davenport. He was heralded as an upcoming CB, I mostly remember him for being pretty shit.

Anyone remember Alton Thelwell? As a naive kid, I thought he would be the new Ledley. How wrong I was.

Thelwell probably couldn't have been the new King as he made his debut in the same game as King and had the better debut ended up at the Orient

Anyone remember this midfielder we had briefly? Jamie Redkernapp or something? Had a famous cousin and married a pop star apparently...

Do not diss Miller. Bona-fide legend. FA & Uefa cup winner and sent off at the Goldstone ground in 2nd division year during a 3-1 loss.
Unless you're referring to some other Paul Miller.
Then I apologise.

Miller wasn't sent off in that game he hadn't even made his debut by then - I remember the game and being there can't remember who got sent off Mcalliister maybe its going to bug me

ps Miller scored in the first leg at Anderlecht

your talking about Calum Davenport signed from Coventry scored a goal and ended up at West Ham

His story was nuts, if i remember - someone stabbed him in both legs after a row involving his girlfriend. Her brother stabbed him? I think they all ended up in court and/or jail.

Yes, just checked and it was indeed Macallister. Can't think why I'd think it was Miller but I'd always though it was. Mind you I was only 10 and it was my first away game. Quite an introduction to travelling with Spurs.

It was his sister's boyfriend. She liked lowlife, Davenport had an argument with his sister and boyfriend and very nearly kicked the bucket, he was very badly slashed up. The incident was quite local to me.

Peter Gain. Another fringe fringe player from the 90s. Represented Irish under 21s but never made the breKthrough at Spurs. We seem to have a lot of mutual Facebook friends.

Seriously? Scored some key goals for us in achieving 4th that year.

When I'm reminded he was here i remember but then it just disappears again and its always a complete surprise, its like Westworld and I'm a very specific robot who can never see Icelandic players in Spurs shirts.
