If i can take the thread in a slightly dangerous direction and mention players from first xi friendlies, i remember michael malcolm, a forward player who i think we poached from someone's yoof side.

Also dagui bakari, a useless french forward

Dont think anyone has mentioned noe pamarot yet, thought he was gonna become a cult hero for us.

Paul Mahorn. A rather chubby fella who I don't think ever made a performance for us. I remember when we faced Man U with the fearsome strike force of Rory Allen and Neale Fenn. Thems were the days when we had 1000's of glory hunters.:whistle:

Went to Old Trafford that day along with about 12,000 other yids

Must have been mad wasting money to watch that strike force but we actually did well until Roy Keane got a bit upset and decided that it was his pitch

Was Pamarot the worst of those new players we bought during the enlightened years of Fun time Frankie and (Santini) BMJ?

Not for me he wasnt. Was imperious away at everton that yr (won 1 0, he scored) and saw him have some other monster games as well. Touch was dogshit tho. Surprised he was sold back to france so soon, unless i saw all of his good games...

Haha you must have!

Legs like bloody tree trunks. His career started quite well for a very short period but soon all his faults came shining through. I saw him have some absolute shockers...

Reto Ziegler. Swiss left back. Had a great left peg.
Remember watching him in the early 2000s in a league cup match up at Bolton and telling all my mates we had a star!

Kevin Dearden and I was there for his only league appearance away at Forest in about 92. Little and fat but had a serious long goal kick on him!

Also the Polston brothers. I know John made a few appearances and had a decent career At Norwich but Andy only ever made one appearance. Just read they were the first brothers to play for spurs since 1912 and ever since.

John Lacy, CB who was brought to tighten up a very leaky defense. Didn't really help out.
Don McAllister.
Jimmy Holmes, the versatile Irish.
Paul Miller, a once promising Spurs youth product CB, who spent a season at Skeid (Norway) when they were in the top division (they are now playing in 3 "tier").
Gordon Smith, the Scottish full-back.
Do not diss Miller. Bona-fide legend. FA & Uefa cup winner and sent off at the Goldstone ground in 2nd division year during a 3-1 loss.
Unless you're referring to some other Paul Miller.
Then I apologise.

As I mentioned before, I played in the same teams as John. His old man was driven to say the least.
I remember during a district game he came walking round to the goal that I was in and, calling me by my surname by the way, told me to distribute the ball better ie roll it out to John.
I told him to fuck off. I was 12 or 13.

I had the 94/95 season poster on my bedroom wall for about 5 years looking at it and thinking Klinsmann, Sheringham, Popescu, Mabbutt, Anderton and Barmby would guide us to the league.

But now I reflect and all I can see is John Hendry, Chris Day and David Kerslake staring back at me and I still to this day have no idea what position they played or can ever recall watching them. I remember Nethercott, Austin etc mostly because they were utterly useless.

We had some absolutely disgusting players throughout the entire 90s. Makes me wonder what standard some of them would play at now.
