The squad was utterly neglected, and this is the result.

I didn’t want to believe this but it’s utterly correct. I love that we have this fantasy new stadium and in the long term it will benefit us greatly. I thought these players were good enough to carry us through that period into the next with the signings in the summer but it’s just not true. We have a lot to shift, we are a spent force and in need of a massive overhaul. I still think those signings will become what we want but we need to shift a lot of the old guard. Just feeling the end of an era right now and maybe it’s been a bit delayed cos I believed in some of these guys like no other spurs team for the last few years. This is now truly a transition and with that in mind I’m gonna ride this season out and hope we get back to what is ours to take next season. Would love a win here regardless though lads so don’t let me down.

What is it with our squad and starting matches unacceptably slowly? It's been happening for more than a year and under the guidance of two managers. How do we fix this?

Have you seen how tight the league is?
Yes but we hadn’t even won away in about 6months or something like that before Jose came in and we’d got 25 points from our last 25 games! Since Jose has taken over he’s won 5 out of 7 in the league. Im not loving the football but Jose has taken over mid season so no time to properly coach them and our squad is a fucking mess mate, Norwich also beat man.city at home and gave the other top 6 boys a real game this was never going to be easy.

I think we can still turn this round, very tough job for Jose and results are key at the moment which he’s been getting. This match is also far from over and he’s taking off Foyth so no messing around, he clearly knows the issues we have but isn’t saying it in public as he needs to get the players on side and give them confidence.

After another dreadful half I don’t have much faith we’ll go on and win this. Why should we, we’ve been incoherent and indifferent throughout

The experiment with Foyth has been an absolute disaster. He’s already experienced enough to not be making these mistakes so consistently. He’s 21 not 17. Garbage.

The thing thats ao infuriating is that this is basically the same group of players that went unbeaten at home in our final season and whl and had the best defensive record in the league.

What was the breaking point? It feels like it all started to come apart once Dembele left which is odd because he was injured often anyway.

In response to some people saying 'we' have been calling for this midfield for ages, I dont think many actually asked for this specifically. It is evident we need a defensive mid in there or at least someone who can get stuck in and has some power. It's just we so often had the other extreme. But yes, this is a midfield out of necessity rather than choice. But still, its a bit early to comment yet, I wouldnt be surprised with this ending 1-2 again.

I said we’d get raped if we played them two few weeks back and had a few people disagreeing with me on that lol.

Said at start of this match would be very interesting to see how it pans out and it hasn’t worked.

Skipp on please!

He'll keep trying to compete but as an entity this season is a write off. This is purely a case of figuring out who he wants to keep and who he'll want shipped.

We're going to have alot of rough with smooth.
