He also seems to be an arrogant prick who thinks he doesn't need to do any work and, as someone said earlier, thinks he is a lot better than he is.
He’s actually working a lot harder than you think (or want to think) he is!

Dislike so much about this team. Aurier never be good enough. Foyth is a clown. Verts is now well
passed it. Alli is 90% useless and scores the odd goal.

This isn’t knee jerk, it’s consistently happening.
We’ve still got the 3rd best squad though and a better manager will sort it out.

Right?

Same old same old, we are being out worked and our fought. Ref is allowing it to be a bit physical (for both teams) and that is suiting Norwich more.

Go to a back 4, bring on Skipp or Dier to sit next to Ndombele and see if we can get some sort of control.

Fair fucks to Jose for the selection bit it's not working.

Also how bad is VAR that I feel sorry for Norwich? To be fair it's the off side rule that needs changing rather than VAR but what a shambles.

So much for the enthusiasm based on individual selections.

Lo Celso has been doing his best, spraying pretty decent passes out to players who either don't control them or, more often, get bullied off the ball.

Ndombele has tried two vertical dribbles and has been bumped off the ball both times. On two occasions, instead of going up for a 50/50 ball, he waited an age for it to drop and, of course, lost out to a more determined and energetic Norwich player.

Eriksen is doing some nice close passing occasionally, but can't get to ball the anyone because his midfield companions are all marked.

For months, our defensive problems have been blamed on lapses, but recently they have mainly been down to an inability to control midfield, match after match. Even our 5-0 win was mainly achieved by bypassing midfield.

As someone posted above, we have never replaced Dembélé. Ndombele is supposedly a player in the same mould, but he's a featherweight by comparison and he won't compete for the ball. In the absence of midfield control and pressure, the front players are trying to make goals from scraps. In the absence of midfield control and protection, the defence is constantly mopping up opposition overloads.

The only player who really deserves singling out for individual errors is Foyth. The goal was his fault, his fault and his fault. Others did not shine, but he did what we are starting to recognise as a typical-Foyth. He has way too much confidence in his ability to finesse his way out of difficult one-on-ones and he loses the ball. It's all very well being a "ball-playing defender", but he's been with us for awhile now. He should be showing signs of dealing with this aspect of his game and knowing when to clear out the ball or, if necessary, an opponent, but he isn't. He's just as disaster-prone as he was at 18.

This is why Dier and Sissoko and Winks play. Because Lo Celso and Eriksen and Dele need a foundation to build off. This season at least, Ndombele is not that foundation

I've watched Kane quite closely and I'll tell you now...he cannot be fucked at all today. No movement, no desire to chase or hound the opposition, embarrassing first 45.
Totally agree been saying that all season. Feels like we havent played together n had no pre season we been that bad so far.

I have watched teams like Liverpool build their success on central defenders be it 2 or 3 who stay home and compact. They defend the center of the penalty area. They drop deep, try to hold the 18 and keep everything in front of them and will take their chances with leaving the sides open.

We defend with one central defender who tends to back off. Look at the goals we have conceded centrally.

Verts went to sleep on both Norwich goals and did not tuck inside. He was going forward with Foyt and Aurier. He needs to stay and counter the counter.

There is no need for Verts to go forward. Just defend. Focus on keeping a clean sheet.

He has been a great servant but starting to see him be exposed in too many of the goals we concede.

Yes, Aurier and Foyth gave away the ball needlessly but Verts and Tony (or 2 from 3 CBs) need to cover and defend.

Can’t believe Ndombele is getting slated for playing relatively well in his WORST position. He has never and will never be a DM, and that’s the job he’s been asked to do now. Only one out there that can get a foot in and pass the bloody ball.

Eriksen has been useless, get him off and get Dier on. Let Tanguy orchestrate our way out from the box to box position where he belongs.

Doesnt seem to matter what midfield we play at the moment, we seem to be losing 50/50s, oppositions passing better than ours and we give the ball away easily?
