I've watched Kane quite closely and I'll tell you now...he cannot be fucked at all today. No movement, no desire to chase or hound the opposition, embarrassing first 45.
He was everywhere 2 days ago

See I wonder if the premier league didn’t really want to implement VAR and have purposefully fucked it’s implementation up so we all moan and want rid of it, or at least demand its only used for the bare minimum.
Nah, it just Premier league incompetence.

They simply implemented VAR without any thought as to things like off side.

Say what you want about some of the lost possession from Ndombele but he's the only one those first 45 that actually wants the damn ball. Get Sess or Dele off for Dier at HT so GLC and Eriksen can be freed up a bit more from their "defensive" duties and actually try to string some passes together going forward. We need some defensive thought in the middle.

Jan is finished. When can we stop thinking Toby is still good? He is decidedly not. Foyth is, to put it lightly, dumb. Gazzaniga is...not good. Eriksen, please fuck off already.

If Levy doesnt think investment is needed this month, he is an absolute moron.

Well even someone like kane is in need of a rest. His 2nd game in 2 days. Problem is we dont have anyone who can swap him out for except maybe son.

I liked the line up but its just highlighted our desperate need for a CDM like Wanyama 2016. Ndombele is not that player - needs the CDM to be his launch pad for attacking forays.

I want Foyth to succeed. I think he looks so silky on the ball. But his mistakes are always so very costly and there's always several in him. Pray Mourinho can coach it out of him.

We can still win this but we're going to need some luck like Vs Brighton.

We shouldn't' be needing luck to win these games.

Dier needs to come on in midfield, this sharing defensive responsibility does not work. I'd hook Eriksen but Tanguy will be taken off.

Moura for Alli is a must, we need someone to get in behind their full backs and stretch their defense.

It's not effort, they try. Its poor set up. 2 players out wide who dont want to defend and arent positionally disciplined. The 2 wide centrebacks dont like playing there. No holding midfield player. No pace going forward.

These are very basic things that should be seen before a ball has been kicked.

i know it sounds like sour grapes and ye were playing like shit, but fuck me, have the refs been told to ignore any obvious fouls against our players? foyth was flattened for their goal and wtf was that shit with tettey on ndombele at the end of the half???
There was a chance before the goal where one of our defenders was flattened but I don’t think there was anything wrong with the challenge on Foyth for the goal.

But but but, spurs community have been crying out for this midfield...

(proceed to get bossed by the team bottom of the league)
Hopefully at least we can now enjoy spurs disappointments in peace for a few games from the bring on GLC/ndombele fan boys for a bit.

Who would have thought it wasn't all just a matter of putting on shiny new player?

Unfortunately, as brutal as it may sound, I think this team have proved themselves to be a bunch of losers.

Oh, and we may well have been a one man team under Pochettino - his name was Mousa Dembele.

This is the same kind of performance level as under Poch for the last 12 months.

Why has Mourinho gone from 1 extreme to the other?

Away from home as well, WTF is he thinking?

Surely you start Dier with 2 CAM's?

Instead he starts 3 Cm's with how many minutes football between them?

Inexplicable.
