Don't really have that strong of and opinion right now.

I just want a proven manager who plays the football the way Tottenham do, and that's not Jose. Anyone but that guy.

So I voted for on of our own, BC!

As far as I know, Mourinho has a history of joining clubs that are used to winning stuff regularly and then wins more stuff with them. Has he ever turned a club into winners from a position like ours, and if he hasn't, what makes people so certain that he will? People go on as if it's guaranteed we'll be lifting silverware but I can see him copping a strop pretty quickly and flouncing off like he usually does.

He delivered Chelsea’s first title for 50 odd years and Inters first European Cup since the 60’s

Impressive to be fair.

This could be the chance he needs to return to the Porto/Inter days. People talk about how he leaves clubs in a mess, that’s not true if you scratch at the surface.

Porto, Chelsea ( 1st time ), Inter and Real were all left in pretty good shape when he left.

I'm tired of projects I'd like instant results. I think teams have a life cycle of 4-5 years and even people like Pep recognise that. You can't give your all for longer than that and you would need to carefully manage the phasing out and introduction of players like Fergie did. Few people have the opportunity, finances or the want to rebuild teams in the style of one manager. What happened to Klopp at Dortmund is happening now with Poch. We need to be thinking in 4/5 year blocks, which is why I'd like an experienced manager like Mourinho who has clout, can attract big name players and who can win things. Football finances now mean that everyone has caught up with us fee wise, we need someone who can attract names so that they would choose us over someone like Emery's Arsenal or Ole's United.

I don't know why Howe has become Marmite all of a sudden by Dyche is a good shout as well. Seems to get the best out of not-a-lot.
With Dyche say goodbye to Sanchez, Sissoko, Ndombele, Moura, Dele, Rose, KWP etc. The guy doesn't seem to want black players in his teams and his club and recruitment policies have some very covert dog whistle racism about them. For example no tracksuits or leggings, and no music in changing rooms.

Not that I want Sean Dyche as our manager but how the hell have you come to that take!?

Imagine if BC was coach.

Picture the scene, it's Tuesday night vs Bayern. In walks BC.

"Right lads, yes were 2-1 down but I'm seeing a lot of encouraging signs - most notably no Dier to be seen anywhere - It's only half time, If we keep the high press and bypass the centre we have a chance of winning this."

Kane "Errr boss, it's 11pm, we lost 7-2!?"

BC "Ah fuck, I set the tape recorder for 10pm"

The players really loved playing for him at Utd didn't they, so much so they got him fired. I don't want to see him at Spurs. Why is it everybody thinks if there foreign they must be good. Personally if Poch goes I would be quite happy to see Eddie Howe or even Dyche given a chance. Nobody knows how good they could be as they have always been with smaller clubs with no real budget but have always managed to keep them in the PL. Mourinho always blames everybody but himself when the going gets tough it wouldn't take long to have a really disgruntled squad even worse than it is now.

No man.. Dyche. Dyche of Burnley, he's won the square root of nothing. Why aim so low? As a club and a fan base we have to show greater ambition than go for Dyche. No no no. It's a terrible idea. I'm going to have nightmares.

If we're looking at Premier League managers looking to make a step up then the obvious choice for me would be Nuno Espirito Santo. Has done a really good job with Wolves, which is obviously very different to doing it with Tottenham, but his teams play good football, he is good at blending both youth team prospects and foreign imports into the side, he has a flexible tactical approach that gets the best out of his players, and crucially, he has a superb record in getting results in the big games against the odds.

Something people are less aware of - he has actually won the Champions League as a player. Albeit as the reserve keeper...

Not a bad shout actually, although I still think we should be looking at someone more high profile with a winning pedigree as a manager.

However, on the basis that I don’t believe we’d get that, I’d prefer him to Howe.

Ancelotti would be fantastic. Difficult to persuade though I’d have thought. He pretty much ticks every box

Finding it really hard to not want Mourinho.
Its like that saucy little mare at the boozer, all your mates are telling you she's trouble, you know she'll probably chew you up and spit you out, but fuck it...fill your boots and enjoy it whilst it lasts, thats what I say.

Just to be clear, you'd actually rather Sean Dyche than Jose Mourinho?

Fucking hell...
