Ten Haag would be your guy then mateI've watched all those teams over the years, the Real Madrid team was his best one from the tactical attacking aspect and they scored countless goals from fast interchange football that had clearly been worked on off the training pitch. It was Real Madrid though....... but saying that I'd not sniff at some of that here.
The other Jose sides..... I think have all been very pragmatic and not a great watch, they often end up grinding down the opposition and then being ruthless if the chance arises. And all bar that Porto team (which was a monumental achievement, no doubt about it) was packed with individual quality to get the job done.
I wouldn't call it boring football per se, just not to my tastes. Many types of football aren't, especially what some would consider 'attacking' or exciting' etc. I didn't like much of Redknapp's open bollocks lottery football for instance, and said it many times and bored many on here to tears. I don't particularly like how Liverpool play football, even if they're storming the league currently and look unbeatable, as a current example. There were even several parts of Poch football I saw every week, even in the good times, that I thought were crap. But that's just me. The Cruyff/Spanish/Dutch school of thinking is my starting point in terms of my footballing tastes - high press, high line, having the ball is key, technical style of football etc.
But we shall see.........
